i have no idea if this compares to anyone else's stories and idgaf if it does or not but you guys wanted me to share so i did. now i should probably finish fixing up my bed

I really dont get the appeal of tablets and smarthphones. But probably thats me. Coming from someone that is still using a 5610 XpressMusic.
The ability to call and text, twitter, facebook, skype and other apps, a camera that can take pictures and 1080p video. Not to mention having access to the internet practically everywhere.
Internet away from the computer is the prime reason.

I love my iPhone and iPad for watching Youtube videos in bed. That's mostly what I use my iPad for.. iPhone for surfing Facepunch on the bus and stuff :D

There is little to no difference between Skype's SILK codec and Mumble's custom CELT codec.
Both are as clear as each other and SILK uses less bandwidth.
