What exactly is an honours society? I hear it sometimes on American TV shows, like "My kid is an honours student" or "I'm on the honour roll!". Over here undergraduate degrees significantly above a pass are called an honours degree (so like, a 2:2 is a lower second class honours and a 1st is a first class honours). Is it like that?

I don't have any great plans, I travel a lot throughout europe. My philosophy is to come up with a route from A to B and then to stray as far off as possible. Whenever I find a nice place or meet interesting people I stay there and I avoid big tourist hotspots or big cities generally, it's all about the ride for me, the landscape, the feeling of freedom, being able to go where ever you want and to experience whatever comes along. I can't imagine targeting a camping ground, driving straight there, staying a couple of days and then go back home, that's stupid. I want to really experience the trip, the land, the people.
