I'unno, I think it'd be cool to get one on your left ass cheek that says
"Roses are red;
Violets are blue.
This poem is shit
And that is too ->"
In my mind this is ballancing on the edge of really cool and really stupid, waiting to fall over
Hey guys, I'm gay. Give me special privileges!
Hey guys, I'm gay. Give me special privileges!
Sure! You get the special privileges of familial rejection, continual negative messages about your sexuality in mainstream media and the continual underlying fear that if you're too loudly out then one day you might get beaten up or worse. Have fun! :D

I'm not really gay, why do you all feel to need to tell everyone you're gay?
Do you need parades where you all dance around like fucking idiots? If you want to be taken seriously why don't you all act like normal people.
Oh man, I found the clothes from that Le1f video

If he had a poem on his chest just so he could go "I have a poem on my chest", that's pretty pretentious; otherwise he's just expressing himself.
I think if he'd only had one or two of those tats he'd look awesome but all the swallows are a bit overdone and I really don't know what's going on with that thing under his bellybutton.

Well, because if I didn't tell everyone I was gay people tend to assume I'm straight, so then I potentially miss out on some sweet dicking action.
As for the parades where we dance around like idiots, that's the young fun people having fun and looking for action. It's a bit like mardi gras. Don't worry, there's plenty of boring people who are all like "Pride should be political!". We are acting like normal people, just fun normal people (and don't lie, if there was a massive street party full of hot girls willing to dance with you you'd be up on that).

The whole thing together makes it seems like a big grab for attention. They are ridiculous tattoos.
Nothing against tattoos, there's one i'd like and my sister runs a tattoo place its just those are bad examples of tattoos.
In my opinion.

You're generalizing.
We are not every gay person and neither are the people who participate in pride parades.

I don't have that sort of money to spend, though, but the other people are cheaper

you can say whatever kind of bigoted and misinformed thing you like, just don't expect anyone to take it seriously

Saying you should keep your private life private is bigoted?
OK...
waah waah gays
did you come in here so you could tell us how much you hate us? That's fine, but nobody gives a flying shit. I get enough of people like you IRL, and don't need it in gay chat thread.
Saying you should keep your private life private is bigoted?

There are parades and "weeks" or "months" for just about everything, no-one complains about the Book Week Parade, People are different and like to express themselves, if everyone kept everything to themselves then people wouldn't socialize at all.
Anyway, this is the Gay thread for Gay people, don't come in and question the Gay Agenda in here!
Saying you should keep your private life private is bigoted?

when gay people are outed against their will by people they trust, when we're not allowed to marry who we love, when we're told our sexual preferences are evil or dangerous, when we're discriminated against by employers, when we can't visit our loved ones in hospital, then our private lives cease to be private.
that is why we have pride.

Looks a wee bit messy though... I'd totally rock the blue one but there's no way I can justify spending 70 quid on something like that!

Good. I don't like you.

I wouldn't buy it simply because it's yellow, and I clash terribly with yellow.
~rrerr~
Saying you should keep your private life private is bigoted?
OK...
I do keep my private life private. I'm no more open about being gay then my straight friends are about being straight. In fact I'm less open about being gay.
Put it this way, some of my male friends will loudly discuss how they were banging this girl and she was totally into it blah blah blah - I wouldn't discuss that with them because I don't think they want to hear about how good I am at sucking dick (EXCEPTION: drinking games) so I don't tell them that much about my sex life unless they ask me. When we go clubbing or to bars, they'll all be off trying to pull fit girls and I'll be in the smoking area having a chat or having a dance with my pals. When we go gay clubbing, the inverse applies.
I don't walk down the street with a giant rainbow flag screaming "I'M HERE! I'M QUEER! GET USED TO IT!". I am just a normal person. A fun person, even, people tend to like me. But I do participate in Pride parades. Why do we have Pride parades when there's no straight pride?
Well there is straight pride. It's called every day everywhere and it comes from living in a heteronormative society. I'm not saying a bad thing - obviously we live in a heteronormative society because most people are straight. But you can always be on the pull, you can always discuss your relationships. If you see a cute girl, you can ask her out on the basis that you assume she's straight and if you're mistaken there's no worry that she'll get offended.
You also will never be discriminated against for being straight. You can't be fired for it, you can travel where you want without worrying people will kill you for being straight, you're not going to get beaten up for being straight, you won't be rejected by your family for being straight, you'll be able to get married... that's why we do things like Pride. It's a party for a marginalised subculture and I'm sure you don't even understand why we do it. You have no idea why we need things like this to feel better because you've never tasted oppression. I'm going to assume you're straight, white, male and able bodied (that's quite a leap) - you're the top of the rung. You probably disagree with culture festivals or black scholarships or affirmative action because "I don't get special treatment because I'm white!". Guess what, sweet cheeks, yeah you do, every single day of your life from the day you were born but you can't see it because you're so, so used to it.
You're not telling me to keep my private life private. You're telling me to keep my private life secret. I see no reason to, because there's nothing wrong with being gay. The only people who have issues with it are losers who probably don't even know how to party because all the cool hipster bars are full of faggots or something like that. Maybe not that obtuse, but I bet you don't think you're homophobic (you are).
I did LSD last night to wake up to another ignoramus; great everything seems to be in working order here.
Tick Tick Tick....

But this is the internet, not real life.
Oh man, maybe I'm still drunk from last night, but the more I look at that weird clothes website the more I want everything on it
