It's a sandbox which is part of the reason people may be deterred. You can do whatever the fuck you want. I have a gun that shoots flaming bananas at people. Some people do a lot of combat stuff, some people make (real) bank by selling (in game) real estate. L$ can be exchanged back and forth with real money. I saw a DJ make over $100 USD one night in a club from tips. I want to get into advanced scripting and making games and such.
