It's just that people don't think about it when they go bragging about it. They are just so happy at the moment and want to share the reason. It is rather selfish- I have learned the consequences so I think twice now.
I'm not really bothered if people talk about sex like that, why should I be? It's not like it's a dirty, shameful act that should be hidden from everyone else (although some poor misguided people seem to believe that it is...)
