It seems interesting when thinking about doing this but then I think about if I can be bothered watching an 8 hour video of me doing something I did 8 hours before.
It seems interesting when thinking about doing this but then I think about if I can be bothered watching an 8 hour video of me doing something I did 8 hours before.
You don't watch the full 8 hours. You skip through it, you'll have seen all the important parts in minutes.
I'll be doing this as soon as I have a good camera to do it with. Apparently I laugh and talk in my sleep. I also dismiss alarms and answer calls in my sleep. Its very counter-productive when your phone is the only thing that can get you up for school or work. I once woke up in my living room on the couch to my friend and my mother asking "Whose this Leslie you keep yelling about?" I don't know anyone named Leslie.
Recorded myself last night again. The only interesting thing that happened was me getting up, walking towards my other bed, stopping half-way there, scratching my butt, shrugging, and going back to the original bed and sleeping.
I've tried it with the webcam:D but i didn't managed:|:| Sports betting
I once tried taking a shit when sleep walking. I forgot to pull my pants down though.
Well guys, I really wanted to give you guys content but it felt like as soon as the cam was turned on my house instantly became haunted, doors were making sounds and such.. anyway. I do have a small sleepthingy story. It was when I was very young and I went to bed. I fell asleep. And I woke up. But not in the bed, I woke up on the floor, lying on the pillow and the sheets, perfectly wrapped around me. I have no idea how I managed to crawl down from my bed to position myself on the ground without waking up.. oh well.
I didn't film myself while sleeping, but I was half awake/half asleep when this happened so I remember. I ended up watching Leprechaun on Netflix (for those of you who don't know what it is http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0107387/). So after the movie, I went to sleep.. Also, I'm not scared of horror movies, they don't frighten me one bit so I don't know why the following happened. I sat up half asleep in the middle of the night and I remember grabbing my pillow and hitting the side of my fan that was standing on the ground and knocking it the fuck over thinking it was a Leprechaun and I sat there for 10 seconds or so debating whether or not to look over my bed. I was still half asleep at this point, I looked over my bed and it was my fan.. By that time, I was fully awake and I felt so dumb, laughed it off and went back to sleep.
What do you guys do for light while you film yourself? I was using my monitors light, but it turned off 30 mins through. I can fiddle with the settings but is there a better way?
I finally got around to recording myself. After waking up and watching the footage I was a little creeped out for some reason and slightly regret doing this. The only interesting thing I did was put my feet up randomly in the middle of the night but that's barely exciting.
Just waken up. 1.6 GB Footage of me sleeping 6 hours, gonna fast foward it, maybe post it.
What do you guys do for light while you film yourself? I was using my monitors light, but it turned off 30 mins through. I can fiddle with the settings but is there a better way?
light a fire in your room
light a fire in your room
Already done that, twice. Don't fucking ask.
I hope a firewire Sony Handicam camera would work. It would be perfect since it has an infared LED for light. I should try this tomorrow night. I need to get my tripod from my car. Probably do it with my laptop, since its much quieter than my desktop.
Because I don't have a webcam with nightvision, I'm gonna record audio of my sleep. Will post results later on.

I'm tempted to buy a webcam just to do this
Im tempted to do this but cannot find my recorder
6 hour video there sped up to 5 minutes. I'm not a very interesting sleeper. :saddowns: The timer is what time it is, not how long the recording is for.
This is interesting. Might try it out once I get a webcam. My mom will probably screw it up, though.
Yeh well I tried and I think I should go to a doctor. Once I have positioned the pillow correctly and found a good spot I lay perfectly still with maybe some toe twitching the whole night.

Or see if your hallway lights can light the room up enough to sleep without being bothered by it too much.
If you have a variable light switch like me use that, if not try a desk lamp perhaps? Or see if your hallway lights can light the room up enough to sleep without being bothered by it too much.
Just use the bat signal.
Just use the bat signal.
Too bright and generates too much heat for this time of the year. Ps: Going to bed now, will post results. Time to get the old matress out. Yippy....
6 hour video there sped up to 5 minutes. I'm not a very interesting sleeper. :saddowns: The timer is what time it is, not how long the recording is for.
Dude at about 2:20 into your video a strange flashing occurs middle left.
What do you guys do for light while you film yourself? I was using my monitors light, but it turned off 30 mins through. I can fiddle with the settings but is there a better way?
Natural light. The reflector doesn't do jack shit, damn thing.
There's something unnatural about this. Human beings aren't meant to see themselves in this state. Without technology we wouldn't even know what we look like with our eyes closed. [editline]16th June 2011[/editline] I talk in my sleep. I've said "Two bottom buttons on the t.v" "Ask Lisa to help you" and other stuff. Those are just two I remember (I was sleeping in the same room as my family at disneyland and they told me the next day)
Ill do it when i get my new HD camera that has nightvision.
I'm thinking of doing this but I don't think I have anything with nightvision.... I'll dig through my old electronics and try to find one that has it....
