[sp]THe worst part was the 3 choices were "Tell the people what happened from the biased point of view of Darrows/Sarif/Taggart" with no option to just have Eliza report the facts. Just leave shit out to skew people's view or kill everyone on the station and destroy a structure designed to counter environmental damage, causing a shit load of damage in the process.[/sp] I think the fourth option makes the most sense thematically, rejection of authority and power playing and all that, but as far as actual events go it's pretty stupid.
[sp] Wouldn't Panchaea have collapsed after the ending anyway? Without Hyron to control the structure, wouldn't it still collapse under pressure presumably killing Jensen and everyone else?[/sp]

Why would you build a structure that stretches from the ocean floor to quite a ways above sea level and then tie its structural integrity to whether or not its main computer was on? It's not like an adventure game from the 90s where you kill a boss and the dungeon starts to collapse.[/sp]
How the hell was Panchea supposed to reverse global warming, anyways?
Didn't feed the ocean an assload of algae or microbes or whatever that sucked in CO2?

Generally when you fuck up the power source in something as large and complex as that, bad things happen. Regardless of what happened Juggernaut must have rescued him.[/sp]
there already was a sequel it's called:
There has never been a more fitting subtitle for a game.

No. Why should they here, walls don't need electricity.[/sp]
I guess I should go back and try to finish Human Revolution cause you guys seem to think it was p great. It kindof bored me to be honest.

With that gone/destroyed, the pressures from the neighbouring ocean (which were being managed by the Hyron) destroyed the place.

The Hyron made the cleaning process work, it wasn't holding the walls up.
Walls don't need power to stay up. The Hyron made the cleaning process work, it wasn't holding the walls up.
iirc the walls had an inner mechanism to ensure that the wall had enough pressure on the inside to counter the intense water pressure on the outside.

Nevermind that we were supposed to see a sequel chapter to The Fall according to the ending, and it was never released... [editline]8th April 2015[/editline]
How the hell was Panchea supposed to reverse global warming, anyways?
Probably acted as a temperature regulator to the ocean (which would keep air temperatures cooler) along with acting as a CO2 scrubber, perhaps.
Hopefully if they do they'll do the smart thing and release it as a Blood Dragon style stand alone game using the PC/Console engine and fix up The Fall as well.
[sp]B: making a decision that affects mankind is somehow worse than murdering hundreds of people[/sp]
[sp]i blew up the platform with hundreds of people on it and then got the achievment for completing the game without killing anybody[/sp]
This better be real. HR was a bloody awesome game, totally worthy of the Deus Ex name. Maybe this time Adam Jensen will go up against the first nanomachine augmented agents?
My pet theory is that Adam is going to be the second nanoaug agent (with the first being Paul Denton). That shield that materializes from empty air at the end of the trailer looks far too advanced to be just a simple mechanical aug
