The Doctor did seem to vanish for more or less a whole 30 minutes, considering when he got in the TARDIS, it was said that he only had 32 minutes to live. When he was in the restaurant with that robot Amy and River, I remember him/something else saying he only had minutes to live.
I get the impression that Moffat doesn't give a fuck about paradoxes. You have to admit it's strange that the Doctor just suddenly turned up in a tux, after not being able to stand up in the TARDIS. I think he does go off and do something, if not switching with himself. I don't think the tux Doctor was the Doctor we saw poisoned.
The Fish Fingers and Custard acted as a painkiller, didn't it? And I presume the tux was one on the floor (River told everyone to take their clothes off).

It was the same tux he wore to Amy & Rory's wedding. I checked.
and I thought that, but I don't see how it could stop his legs from crippling

They weren't crippling, they had a power-nap scheduled!
On a serious note, it obviously isn't a very good painkiller.

Also about the tux - budget cuts.

mmmmm
Ah yes, Kingston's Kleavage. A valuable sight indeed.
Also, this was just before she unleashed the Energy Burst, wasn't it?
There were a few other times as well, weren't there?

HD Boobs.
I love when the Doctor uses the sonic to disarm Melody when she tries to stab him. The sonic needs to be replaced by a wand
Good old J.K! (S3E2)
Also I guess that knife-disarming was making the metal vibrate so strongly it flew outta River's hand.
I think the tux doctor is from when he moves the tardis at the wedding.

I tried editing in an "expelliarums" but the background sound is too low on the yelling.

Oh thank god, I'm not the only one.

She's also my wallpaper, my favorite character in Dr. Who (Besides the Doctor) and if I could, I would marry her. I think I may be a BIT obsessed. Oh well.
No real proof, but most people I know preferred Doctor Who under RTD. I've seen a lot of people say it on the Doctor Who facebook page too.
Awful comparison. Most people on Twitter and my Facebook prefer Moff hugely.
Matt Smith is a far better doctor than David Tennant, just going to say that right now.
What disappoints me is the lack of that coat we saw him in in the start. He was missing it and back to the tweed by the end. Pisses me off because it looked so great.
He probably alternates

Doctor wears one of his outfitis. Budget cuts.

This was presuming that it was meant to be a different outfit...
What could The Doctor have whispered to River/Melody before he "died"? His name?
So is Hitler still in the cupboard?
So is Hitler still in the cupboard?
Yep, we just need to find it now

It was to tell her not to save him, wasn't it. Then there was the whole thing about him lying.
Does anybody else cringe every time somebody says "Doctor who?" in the show? It feels so corny and forced.
I just do a funny face and a weird clap.

I ask the exact same question.
What was that bit with "Amelia" and the Doctor? If fish fingers and custard was the pain killer to begin with, why didn't the VI just tell him? I don't get it.
Personally, I thought the Doctor pleading with the VI was to, I don't know, somehow call Amelia's soul into it? Sort of reminds me of a http://tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pmwiki.php/Main/ptitleb2n8x0k6 moment.
I apologise for linking to TVTropes in advance.
My point is that I think "Amelia" will have something further to do in the series.
Probably the TARDIS going "nrgh okay I'll put a part of Amy's memories in here to cheer him up"
Or Idris, or something along the lines.

Maybe he imagined it. Do we actually see the VI say it? Like on screen?
Good point, we didn't see it.

Ha, good.
Notice the number 1 ontop, hanging free.
Basically, wanted it to say that there isn't one victorious doctor, aka best doctor.

I think it has something to do with the fact the VI was based on Amelia and behaved as such while still trying to be a VI. Only Amelia would suggest something silly like fish fingers to stop the pain, not a VI
