Have to say next weeks looks like a filler episode too :/
Loved the Dimensions in Time hate reference.
Scariest episode ever my ass, brb got to go and rearrange my cupboard.

Don't worry, all clear. That death song was a bit catchy.
I hear it's based on a Russell T Davies script where the kid [sp]WAS GAY[/sp]
He was in the closet after all
Do you guys think that when the Doctor said something like 'We're all here in the flesh', it meant something deeper.

Yeah then it showed is date of death as well so somethings up.
Typical filler episode for me, not really shit nothing great either.

Uhh? That's what most episodes are in Doctor Who? Having an episode every week with one continuous plot would be shit, see: Torchwood.

I still want to know why the Doctor thinks Vampires in Venice is a belter.
Uhh? That's what most episodes are in Doctor Who? Having an episode every week with one continuous plot would be shit, see: Torchwood.
Yeah but most episodes at least introduce a new element to the overall story but next weeks seems to be just an episode that is within its self just like this weeks one.
Is it me, or was something like 90% of the plot copied from 'Fear Her'? That episode with the kid that drew people.

Recently there's been something contributive to the overarching plot in every episode, I think that was the point(woops, late). And didn't Torchwood do a plot per episode until Children of Earth, and that's when it got better?
Was it actually explained why the dolls moved and could turn people into dolls? Or was it just meant to be 'ooeer creepy'

Go and watch series 4 back and tell me that most episodes didn't do that

Children of Earth was good because something happened every episode, Miracle Day is just dragging on.
Didn't the doctor say something along the lines of "we're here, in the flesh".
Could this be linked to that flesh thing?

I wish something would actually HAPPEN with Miracle Day. This revealing 1% of the actual plot every episode is getting kind of tedious.

Didn't Gatiss write that one as well?

Yeah I had enough of that shit with Heroes.
And didn't Torchwood do a plot per episode until Children of Earth, and that's when it got better?
Just because it's better doesn't mean it's good.
Didn't Gatiss write that one as well?
Nope, apparently it was written by the co-creator of 'Life on Mars', Matt Graham.
To be fair, the episode would probably have been better if they hadn't revealed everything about it before hand.
I thought Rory had been possessed or something, with the way he went "Or maybe we should leave him to the monsters", and kept messing with the flashlight.
That crack in the wall as the camera panned around in the apartment complex at the start..
Anyone looked at it?
I thought Rory had been possessed or something, with the way he went "Or maybe we should leave him to the monsters", and kept messing with the flashlight.
He wasn't messing with the light.
I laughed at Rory's "We're dead!" reaction

That's one of my favourite things about Rory: after waiting 2000 years he just doesn't have time for this shit anymore, and he doesn't really hide it.

As I remember (kind of want to watch it again but can't really be bothered) it was pretty good.

Just checked he said
"...It's good to be back together again, in the flesh."
Maybe I'm overlooking it, but the fact that the flesh episode was a 2 parter would suggest that it plays an important role later on.
I think he only said it because, ya'know, Amy got turned to wood.

Incoming innuendo!
After watching that episode, I can't help but think that [sp]it wasn't actually broadcast at all. PERCEPTION FILTER[/sp]
What did you think of Night Terrors as I missed it?
Agree for liked it disagree for it was crap and whatnot.
The dolls reminded me of those things from the DT series', the clockwork guys in the 15th century or whatever it was.
I was not impressed, Confidential however was interesting though because there were lots of flashbacks to Charles Dickens episode. Also some to the Winston Churcill one. They did not broadcast the promised 3 minute Einstein episode though. :(
