[sp]Amy is confirmed to be returning for the finale so don't fret[/sp]
Although I think some spoilers are OK after episodes have aired this one should definitely have spoiler tags as it's talking about future episodes.
Great great episode. I take it when the Doctor entered his room and he says "of course", that was obviously his death, hence the "Do not disturb" sign on the door handle as he doesn't want anyone interfering in his death.
What do you mean? It's pretty important as it shows Amy and Rory leaving the Doctor.
I know, but that could've been stuck on the end of any episode. I just feel that it didn't have any kind of point to it.

Didn't he say, "of course it's you" or something to that effect?

No, he said "Who else", not "What else"
I think it was himself

I think so, and it had that bell chiming but i cant remember what that was from

Cloister Bell, it sounds in the TARDIS at the end of the universe, or when very bad things happen.

But that could be relevant to the episode in which ive heard it before. cant remember if it played for the master
Note for anyone who has been to Cardiff:
- In the trailer for next week there is a scene outside of House of Fraiser
Amy's room number was 7 right? How old was she when the Doctor met her for the first time?
I loved how the Doctor's room was number 11 (Being the 11th reincarnation and whatnot)
and Amy's was 7, the age when she met him.

It played in The Sound of Drums, yeah.
Amelia Pond is introduced in the first episode of the 2010 series,[6][7] "The Eleventh Hour" as a seven year old girl living with only her aunt, Sharon.[8]
lol wikipedia
I thought the director's cameo as a picture on the wall was awesome, for anyone who spotted that +1 nerd points.

Yes, but we know that the final episode is going to deal with what we saw in the first episode, which we already know is going to involve Amy.
ding dong the witch is dead................
Such a great episode.
The part where the Doctor made Amy lose faith in him to save her life was just... Wow. I didn't expect it to be as sad as it was when he started talking, but as it went on I just felt sadder and sadder :( especially when he called her Amy Williams... And then the TARDIS materialising reminded me of the older, pre-Smith episodes, where you'd pretty much see it appear and disappear at the beginning and the end of every episode, which made me feel even more emotional.
So yeah, this episode really got to me. Which is surprising, because when I heard it was written by the guy who did School Reunion and Vampires in Venice, I was a bit dubious of how it would turn out... But this was a fantastic episode. Absolutely fantastic.
Love this series :v:
I still think that the Doctor being the one to defaith Amy was kind of counterproductive.
"Stop thinking I'll be the one to save the day"
proceeds to save the day
Would have been a lot better if Rory figured it out then told the Doctor to shup up midsentance, then convinced Amy himself.
I just noticed, When Doc looks in his room its named 11 (HURRRRR) and you can hear the Cloister bell aka the UNIVERSE IS ABOUT TO GO TO SHIT bell
Nah I think it was an important point for the doctor as a character, realizing the effect he had on them.
It sort of lead to him 'saving' them because he realised how dependant on him they were.
D'aww, Toby Withouses kids getting a guided Doctor Who tour. Im jealous. :D
Loved hearing the Life and Death of Amy Pond again; it's such a beautiful peace of music.
Holy shit I had no idea that was David Walliams

It's probably my favourite song from the Series 5 soundtrack, but it's been used 3 times during this series. I don't like hearing it and just thinking 'oh it's this again' (I'm moaning a lot about the music)
I like just searching 'Doctor Who' on Facebook and looking at posts by everyone.
Doctor Who gets more disappointing and unaffecting each week... Really leaves me empty each time now. Hope Amy has actually gone now but sure she will be back. Want Matt Smith to leave too and take Steven Moffatt with him!
:(
people who dislike this season of doctor who are wrong
also, did we find out what the clown was there for?
I disagree that the Doctor's worst fear is his own death. I think this incarnation of the Doctor is really selfless, but so lonely with no companions. Except for his only constant companion.
Who else?
The cloister bell seems to confirm it.
He's witnessing the TARDIS' death.

Somebody's fear. It was never specified who the Weeping Angels were for.
Was all alright episode.
Although i didn't understand why the [sp] Monster didn't go after the Doctor or the Alien, and it died because of Amy. It was implied they both had faith in something [/sp]

I think the clown was just a red herring. I mean, lots of people are scared of clowns.

They weren't ready. They weren't scared enough that all they had left was their faith.
Somebody's fear. It was never specified who the Weeping Angels were for.
i thought the weeping angels were for the rat guy, considering he was hiding in a cupboard and amy comforted him afterwards
When 'it' was dying, I thought the delorean from BttF was about to appear.
