If you thought for a second Moffat would kill the Doctor forever, you're simple.
Some teasers for Closing Time:
[sp]Like The Lodger, It’s a more of a fun episode with some very funny lines. But there are also couple of good scares
The Cybermen aren’t in it for that long really, but it’s longer than they were in A Good Man Goes to War
Karen Gillan and Arthur Darvill are still in the opening credits. Just saying
The Cybermen are peeping toms!
The Doctor is in love with Craig and he really wants him to know it
“I am through saving them.”
The Doctor – Here to help
Craig is a pervert
Meet Stormageddon, the Doctor’s new best friend
“…A beam me up… Star Trek teleport”
“Come along bitey”
For the girl who’s tired of waiting
The Doctor can speak the ancient language of baby
A familiar plot solution saves the day
The last few scenes are very, very exciting and another big question is finally answered[/sp]
I know it is, not stupid. I was joking about it looking like the Christian cross being sideways..
Was at my university freshers fair thing today and got chatting with the police student liason officer. He's been a big part of Doctor Who, closing streets down and keeping the public away and asked the director if David Tennant would sign something for his two young sons. The director thought he'd be too busy, but Tennant came up to him at the end of the day and took a couple of photos with him and got them signed somehow. Lovely :v:
What Uni?
Just watched the confidential episode for God Complex. It's weird seeing places you've been to on TV; when I saw Cardiff Central station and the Marks & Spencer next to it, I was thinking "Oh my god, I've been there!!!"
Also, I love watching the script read-through parts, especially when Moffat is reading the description of the Doctor feeling alone at the end of the episode.
I use that train station almost everyday, I also walk passed the store they blew up in the first episode of Season 1.
I don't know if you guys have heard this, cause it is a bit random for this thread, but Tennant has a role in the Postman Pat movie being worked on.
UguUgugUgh.
Torchwood syndrome: Missed last week's episode, CBA to watch, will likely miss the next episode and all others.
Convince otherwise?
Wasn't it, like, the last episode last week?
[editline]20th September 2011[/editline]
I have no idea because I gave up a couple of episodes ago.
I missed The God Complex, aka saturday's episode, because i had an incredible fever and i would have hallucinated the doctor shi-I mean i would have missed most of the episode.
[editline]20th September 2011[/editline]
Ugh this episode is far from great so far, It's way too fast-paced and while meant to be a freakout, even i'm finding it hard to follow.
[editline]20th September 2011[/editline]
I wish we saw the Doctor's fear, but didn't ever see it, Like we saw him enter the room with a bright light, and just another character burst in and go batshit insane from the sheer power.
lol, thought I was in the Torchwood thread for a sec. Disregard my last comment.

Classic cybermen are hilarious. They look like proper British gentlemen with that metal beard.
Is it midnight yet? I want more info on the finale! UGH
EDIT: I was misinformed. It's just information about the Christmas special and it's been delayed till tomorrow. Oh well.

Is it just me, or does the doctor need a companion who's as old and at least as robust as himself. I bet (torchwood spoiler) [sp]Rex[/sp] will be his next companion.
I found this weird to watch at the time of the release, but they just suit the roles perfectly now :v:

I found a weird Fan Fiction based on this trailer.
The pair strode up the hill under the cover of dark, the only light coming from the stars high above them.
“Never thought of you as the star gazing type Doctor,” Amy said smiling widely.
“Never dismiss star gazing,” the Doctor replied, “A good friend showed me how much fun it can be.”
Amy lay down on her back, “But why just watch them? You can go out and touch them can’t you?”
The Doctor lay down next to her, “Of course. But sometimes it’s nice to just relax. Take time out from touring the universe, to just,” he paused, “Watch them.”
Amy took his hand and squeezed it, “I understand.” There lay in silence for a few minute simply enjoying each others company. Amy loved travelling with the Doctor. He had changed her life so much, taken her to places she had never even dreamed of.
Keeping her safe all the while. He held a very special place in her heart.
And for his part the Doctor loved Amy. There was something about the redhead that had dragged him out of his post regenerative trauma and made him the person he was today. “So,” he said at last, “Where to next?”
Amy pointed straight up, “How about that one?”
The Doctor shook his head, “Bit green close up.”
Amy’s eyes widened, “That one’s flickering.”
“Yeah,” the Doctor said, “Sorry thought I’d fixed that.”
Amy turned her head to look at her new friend. In that moment she realised just how much her life had changed, and just how much this mysterious man was responsible for. And she realised that she never wanted to leave him, “Who are you?”
He turned to look at her “I’m the Doctor.”
“Doctor Who?”
“Who do you want me to be?”
Amy giggled, “So what are the limits of that machine of your’s then Mister Mystery?”
The Doctor smiled, “No limits. All of time and space, everywhere and anywhere. Every star that ever was. Where do you want to start?
Amy rolled over and laid a hand on his cheek, “Right here. Right now,” Then slowly she pressed her lips to his, as above them stars began to fall.
Wait

what
Goddammit internet. Always gotta put that kind of spin on things.
That was really great up until the end.
It's like the writer got to the end, then decided "oh wait, I'm posting it on the internet. Better make them both kiss!"
I never noticed the Master giving Lucy Jelly Babies in "The Last of the Time Lords" before.
Oh Comrade General, I used to miss your posts until you started posting again
Crazy as ever, I see.
Holy shit, Christmas Special stars confirmed - Bill Bailey. Oh my god.
Where's it say that?
