Watching tonight's episode.
It suddenly dawns on me that I recognise the woman they meet at the shop counter.

Hell yes! I thought she died a few years ago but she didn't and that makes me happy.

Did anyone else notice that fat guy in the preview? At 0:19. Is that Churchill? Or maybe the Dreamlord?

Churchill
Doctor Who just skews my look on history sometimes.
Doubles the amount of bad ass in any historical character, including Churchill.
this episode was great... I don't want to wait a week.
Oh well, the BF3 beta will hold me over.
Nice to having something back on Earth, the ending is a bit... interesting. For a moment I thought that was the prelude to River Song's first episode in the library.
The Library comes AFTER prison.
Prison comes AFTER archaeology school
She was still in archaeology school

I loved that episode.
I love Craig. Dislike James Corden.
[editline]25th September 2011[/editline]
Well I DISLIKED James Corden after that Patrick Stewart thing. But since the two did that sketch together I guess there is nothing really to complain about.
James Corden is a pretty swell guy.

I really like this costume without a jacket. Though Green Jacket is the best.
Last nights costume was so very different from the original apart from bow tie. Even the shirt has changed. It's always so unique D:
Looks like grlira was right about the eye patch, nice one :D
Somebody said the same thing as grlira a few weeks back.
Note:
As seen in my display picture the original shirt had a stripy design and was bluey-white
Wait a minute, Remember when we were all shitting ourselves about Amy's attic? I thick one of the Security cams was on it
Oh god please no.
Wow automerge raped.
The Doctor made a lot of how old he was, and we know the Doctor who is killed by River is eleven hundred and three. I can't quite figure out how he got that old when we've been with him the whole time since he was nine hundred or so in The Impossible Astronaut. Has he lived 200 years between leaving Amy and Rory and visiting Craig? What's he been doing for all that time, and did he really last that long without a companion?
Remember the stuff we saw at the very start of the series? He's been doing that.
[editline]25th September 2011[/editline]
Also, I wish Craig was cyberformed. I love craig and it would've been dark. But fitting with The Doctors new fear of loosing friends. And made the episode impact harder if Sophie came home to The Doctor and Alfie but no Craig :(
People would cry
And complain like they did with Torchwood
[editline]25th September 2011[/editline]
Also- as he works so well with them.
Next companion needs to be a child/preteen
[editline]25th September 2011[/editline]
Don't say a child couldn't carry it. Doctor Who has had fantastic child actors over the years.
It'd be shit, Doctor Who would then have to become a childrens show. Are you actually drunk right now? A child companion would be horrible.
Did anyone else notice what Amy's perfume was called? Petrichor. The smell of dust after rain, like in the Doctor's Wife.

Yep, it's at 0:17
AHAHAHA ASRUE THAT MEANS I WIN

No need to get snippy, its just opinions.
I think a child companion would add a lot of chemistry and be very enjoyable but I doubt the BBC would allow it due to political correctness/accusations of pedophilia.
Maybe for, like, an episode or two, but as a proper companion? Nooo.

Also, is anyone else hoping this finale won't be as stupid last half's and that River Song will become a good character?
Now he has that new set of clothes, and the stetson works really well. I love the little thing with Craig giving him the hat, it's perfect. And the speech to the baby was great.
Also absolutely loved the amy rory cameo. Just a really good, normal episode all round. No problems with it. I think all the allusions to his death is how these last episodes should have been - more references to him running away and coming to terms with his death.
I really loved this episode, wasn't expecting the part at the end with River though...
Can't wait for next week, looks like quite a few enemies are in it.
Holy shit just realised River is a bitch
The stetson is a sentimental keepsake from Craig and she shoots it the minute she sees him.
The joy on his face when he got that Stetson :')

Look at Amelia Pond. She didn't need to grow up. Would have been fantastic young. Sure it means the companion has less of a role as they're just a kid and can't do Girl Who Waited type stuff.
But The Doctor seems to do best on his own/with a child anyway. I much prefer episodes where The Doctor and Amy split up for nearly the whole thing. And one with kids are better.
What about the Doctor and an old age pensioner?? Going to the other extreme.
[editline]25th September 2011[/editline]
Suppose it might slow down the pace a bit...
I dunno. Wilfred was cool

I bet if he makes it out alive, he'll steal the hat from himself so he can keep it.
"I speak baby"
"Only works once on creatures with undeveloped brains."
Does it to Craig.

All humans are underdeveloped compared to timelords. He also does it to the clerk, and I think one other person

You're coming across as a bit autistic here.

i'd definitely prefer young Amy, they should get rid of regular amy for good and either keep it like that or bring in young amy
