Apparently Steven Moffat wants to bring out a Rory action figure, who would buy it?
Me. I should get some DW busts, i already got a Terminator one...
[sp] Anyone seen the picture of tomorrows episode of The Doctor, Rory, Amy and Song wearing eye patches?[/sp] Apparently Steven Moffat wants to bring out a Rory action figure, who would buy it?
There isn't one already?
Interesting. [sp]No Amy or Rory. And TARDIS in modern day at night. We already know he picks up Amy and Rory in the day and takes them to WW2. So this must be the end of the episode. So this woman forcing him into the car. Could it be the new companion?[/sp] [editline]30th September 2011[/editline] Did anybody else forget Liz Sladen had died? I just kinda forgot and every-time I see a picture of her I think "oh! I'd love to meet Liz!" and then I remember and feel so sad.. Too young :(
Regarding your spoilers, [sp]I don't think it's a new companion, she looks like the mum from outnumbered who is in the episode.[/sp]

They could've made a dime. Nurse Rory, centurion Rory, stag-night Rory, Rory. [editline]30th September 2011[/editline] I'm sorry. Why the fuck do space pigs, pyroviles, romans, petrified romans and Sea Devlis, Uncle have figures. But not Rory?
Do we know how long tomorrows Ep is going to be? If it is more than an hour I'm going to have to watch it Sunday :(

You give the figurine with the letter saying, "I would turn plastic and protect you for a thousand years", or something else sappy. You know you got a keeper if the person you like would go for a 1000 year old plastic roman warrior over a few hundred year old vampire who sparkles in the sun.
Bits from tomorrow's Doctor Who Confidential (the last one, sadly).
Matt Smith is a genuinely down-to-earth fun and kind person.
*Ood comes on stage* OOOOOH! *Matt comes on stage* WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO! OHHHHHHHHHHHHHH! YAAAA *Steven Moffat* woo

Gives him a downtrodden appearance, which I assume is appropriate with the events taking place.

First day of school, I learned my math teacher watched doctor who as a kid. My year is going to be better cause of this. Also. Got bored in class and I forgot what the TARDIS stands for. Took me a minute to rack my brain, and came out with 'Time and space in relative dimensions.'
Meeting my girlfriends dad in London today, meeting at a restaurant in London. at 7pm. :(
What better way to bond?

Why isn't Saturday here yet?! [editline]1st October 2011[/editline] shit, self rated up there, my bad.
The Doctor with scraggly hair is wearing tweed? Why would he swap over clothes just to die? I smell a ganger...
Me too; it makes more sense despite the repeated recital of the tiresome refrain of how the Ganger Doc was destroyed. Remember that the Doctor said something about how the "molecular memory might survive" or something.
I rewatched the Library episodes last night, I didn't spot anything that I didn't see before. I guess we'll find out tonight.
Can we stop smelling gangers please

I think I figured out what might be missed in Silence in the Library. It's a tiny detail, but a fairly major one if you think about Moffat's long-running plans and how he never seems to waste a hint. First of all, I think that the question is [sp]"Doctor who?"[/sp]. In this clip (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EXR3Jw4U0s4) it's stated that [sp]"At the fall of the Eleventh, where no living creature can speak falsely or fail to answer, a question will be asked"[/sp] In Silence in the Library, when the Doctor is talking about how River knows his name, he says that there's only one time he actually [sp]could tell what his name was.[/sp] Steven Moffat has talked a lot about how he wants to convey the power of [sp]the Doctor's name[/sp] - this would fit in with that - if the Doctor has to go as far as [sp]allowing himself to die to avoid answering the question,[/sp] it would certainly show that. The question has to be something pretty dramatic and have some sort of meaning behind it, and I think this fits perfectly. [editline]1004pm[/editline] In that video, it's also said to be [sp]"The first question, the oldest question, hidden in plain sight"[/sp] which interpreted in the right way could point to that.
I thought it was [sp]"Doctor Who?"[/sp] too.
In that video, it's also said to be [sp]"The first question, the oldest question, hidden in plain sight"[/sp] which interpreted in the right way could point to that.
Doesn't that break the fourth wall, though?
Maybe his name is a very strong word of power? Similar to how the Carrionites used words and psychic energy, so too does the Doctor's name likely have a great deal of power intertwined with it. Perhaps it is a name shared with a very powerful Pre-Universe being like the Beast, attracting it's attention whenever spoken aloud, causing time and reality to break down in the surrounding area. However, when spoken aloud in Gallifreyan, the Doctor's untranslated native tongue, it'd cause massive time fcuk (screws with reality so much even the name gets distorted) enough to make all of time happen at once, all streams converging into one great river. That's probably why the Doctor keeps his true name hidden; it is so powerful that simply speaking it would be enough to make coins fall on their edges and turn into caterpillars, or cause someone to enter a house and discover that they aren't even the same species, gender, or even religious affaliation that they entered as.
