Woah there buddy, they were merely pointing out the fact she had that symbol on her arm. Not why she was stilling wearing the uniform. Jeezus.
Sorry :c
I think it's pretty obvious that The Silence are headed by Omega.

Based on what? If you're going on the fact that the Clerics all have an Omega symbol on their uniforms, then that's no proof at all. The Ω has always been a religious thing, and as the Doctor said, the church developed (or evolved :v: ), so the Omega symbol doesn't prove anything.

I like the idea that The Silence branched off from the church, after Omega influenced them. He has good reason to hate The Doctor, and I like the concept of Timelord v Timelord when it isn't The Master.
That and the fact that post-hypnotic suggestion sounds very timelordy
So guys, compared to Series 5; How do you think this series held up?
Watching doctor who always makes me want some kind of time-travelling sandbox game.
Get on it Rockstar.
From my experience the sandbox elements of Rocksteady games is just killing people in a place you don't have to be for story reasons.

Confidential about start!!
So I missed the middle portion of the episode. It seems as though not much happened?
I don't even understand anything any more.
And all the seemed to happen was the doctor managed to survive his death which they went on about in every episode which eeeeveryone knew would happen, then it just ends on a cliffhanger. Was pretty meh IMO. In fact no I fucking hated it, that was stupid.
It is all still relatively simple in my opinion.
On the Omega debate, Omega as a religious symbol, and for that matter as a symbol in general, represents finality (being the last letter of the Greek alphabet), which corresponds with the end of the Doctor.
Also, I love this: http://en.genzu.net/yurai/
It turns Amelia Pond to Aphrodisiac and Rory Williams to unparalleled.
I think quite a few people considered the tessalector solution during Let's Kill Hitler but rejected it because
1.The "body" of the "Doctor" is burned (don't remember it being mentioned that tessalectors are fireproof).
2.This would mean the Doctor didn't die (although in retrospect history had to record his death, it didn't have to actually happen).
Love that the Doctor will now be able to tease Amy about being his mother-in-law :v:
Wasn't that uniform worn during the episode with the Weeping Angels? Same symbol showed up at Demon's Run.
You're all being stupid.
The symbol is the logo of the Anglican Church. Not Omega.
The Anglican Church were at Demons Run.
Own the prison River was in.
And most importantly were in charge of River in the Angels two parter.
The reason she was wearing the uniform and logo is as she had JUST been granted bail and literally just climbed out the Byzantium.

*Rockstar
And no.
Um - when did the Doctor tell River his name? Or did she just read it on his cot?
Who else noticed how everyone took off their eyepatch things except Rory, and they all went "Rory if you take it off you'll forget about the Silence!" even though they had already taken theirs off
I think everyone knows of their existence but not what they look like which is important because if something you don't recognise is coming after you then you'd be all 'I have to know what it is' otherwise it could be look like a ruler

I'm pretty sure they remember about the Silence in general, just not what they look like or when they last saw them.
yeah, not what they look like, meaning any form imaginable, how would you know if your seeing it in the moment you see it in theory because you don't recognise it at all (obviously they are quite distinguishable being all fat fingered and bald but if you don't remember that then you'd want to know what they look like before you encounter them again, hence why they all knew 'hey you won't be able to see them' but rory wanted to be able to know what he was looking for...)
:v: ?
One thing i'm unsure on.. if the Doctor's death did happen and all along we saw a tesselector, then how did it start to regenerate?
Also, I bet River is pissed she had to go to jail for killing a tesselector :suicide:
It doesn't premiere until 9pm for me.

That was an extremely good summing up of River's life. But there's still more to come! How does she know his name? He only tells that to people in one situation! Dun dun dun!
Also, RIP Doctor Who Confidential. I don't think BBC 3 will be rethinking their decision.
They can mimic any form in a few seconds you really think they cant make some illusion-smoky effect? With the doctors influence on it anyway because technically he had as much time as he wanted before they got to the lake
was yet another good episode, I love how Rory is always badass
PLOT HOLE
Amy remembered killing Kovarian from the time-bubble thing, so she'd recognise her when she's popping in all those walls during Series 6A.
Unless it was all a massive gambit to get Kovarian to believe Amy didn't know she was a Flesh?
Well done BBC

So pleased. Well deserved.
Confidential was so bittersweet, especially My Way... given the circumstances...
So uh, now the series has finished. What do we talk about until christmas?
So uh, now the series has finished. What do we talk about until christmas?
This thread will probably go all quiet and stuff until Christmas.
This thread will probably go all quiet and stuff until Christmas.
Nope. We talk about Doctor Who. The midseries break was a good evidence of what we do.
This thread will probably go all quiet and stuff until Christmas.
nah we're good enough posters that we don't go offtopic during downtime unlike a certain other thread
