Oh come on what the fuck I clicked those spoilers thinking that they'd be jokes Where's that information from anyway?

These are hilarious.
Just leaked from the script. The Doctors cock is called Brian. [editline]3rd October 2011[/editline] No significance. Just during Christmas special The Doctor sits in a corner naked from the waste down smiling smugly before proudly stating "Brian", God hasn't Doctor Who gone to shit. [editline]3rd October 2011[/editline] I miss the days he shat on children and council estates.
woah I just had a nightmare about the silence alien things except they acted like weeping angels and dream-me had a bit of fun with turning my head away and then back really fast
I like it when people have really cool dreams coz it makes me all sleepy and desperate to have the same one as if dreams are like some sort of entertainment utility you lend to people.
Wait what is this leaked script and where can I find it? [editline]3rd October 2011[/editline] Nevermind, didn't read properly hah.
According to the "'Unfinished Business' series of online Doctor #9" the Doctor's real name is Chrístõdavõreendiamondhærtmallõupdracœfiredelúnmiancuimhne de Lœngbærrow Or just Chrístõ to his friends. And then in his academy days he used the nickname "Theta Sigma" (ΘΣ)
And what was with little melody in the spacesuit? And I would still like to know why the Silence creatures are involved? what has The Doctor done too them? Also if The Doctor is doing something bad in the future how do they know about it now and are trying too stop him? Also cracks and Tardis exploding still not explained! Also if we already saw River kill him why was it when the Doctor we've been following go too get killed did River drain the suit and not kill him? If someone could answer these my mind might not explode

i get you now with the last one
The Silence group obviously has time travel, because they plucked Amy out of normalish time stream, and threw her into the future.

One thing I don't understand. How does the Doctor not dying fuse all of reality into one single point in time? He's changed fix points before; Waters of Mars, and he saved those people in The Fires of Pompeii. Rassilon brought Gallifrey out of the Time Lock for a little bit. So what was so special about this point that it made all of reality turn into that single point? It was a good episode, but Moffat's "Future That Never Happened" scheme is going to get VERY old if it keeps happening. Just like RTD's buttons that somehow save everything.

The family were able to escape. Also the time lock isn't a fixed point in time so Rassilon was able to change it. I doubt ANYTHING in the time war could be classified as a fixed point. As for waters of mars I always thought that was dumb and Moffat probably retconned the whole idea and just said you cant change fixed points. Perhaps another possibility is that the two events occurring at the one time created a place where something went wrong with time?
I kinda disagree with the Time Lock thing, it's pretty open to speculation I guess.
[QUOTE=punkrjp;32591916][sp]Baldur[/sp] is the english version of the norse name [sp]Balder[/sp], afaik.[/QUOTE] Oh right. And on that subject, it's apparent that Christopher Eccelston was [sp]Balder[/sp] than most Doctors, with the exception of William Hartnell.
I thought of Baldrick from Black Adder.

When she broke out her body failed a few months later and she regenerated. It was also an easy way to control her. Apparently nothing. It's just they're religion dictates he's a bad man who has done bad things and is going to do MORE bad worse things. Religious cults- logic was never included. Cracks are from the explosion but yeah still a bit unexplained and I've got this horrible feeling Steven has forgot. You can't expect the casual viewer to still remember or care about this all this time later. I assume he wants as to accept The Silence did it just to be BAD. Because that was the whole plot. She tried to change time and then The Doctor UNCHANGED it. She never drained her weapons anymore. [editline]3rd October 2011[/editline] [QUOTE=Aries;32603497]One thing I don't understand. In Fathers Day and Pompei he has let things happen. Pompeis destruction was a fixed point, how do we know those people being saved wasn't one also? And it didn't fuse ALL of reality. Mainly the earth. River said they were in a time bubble and things were going as normal outside. [editline]3rd October 2011[/editline] [QUOTE=Aries;32603566]I kinda disagree with the Time Lock thing, it's pretty open to speculation I guess.[/QUOTE] Not really. A time lock isn't an event, so it can't be fixed. A time lock is literally time that is locked. Like you've taken time and shut the door and not let anybody inside. Events still unfold inside. Rassilon didn't break the time lock as much as he found a way round it. Going back to that door analogy- it's like he was tunnelling under it. The only fixed part of the Time War is the bit they all burn which is why Rassilon escaped in the first place. When The Doctor sent them back we can assume they went back to burn. [editline]3rd October 2011[/editline] [QUOTE=ironman17;32603827]Oh right. And on that subject, it's apparent that Christopher Eccelston was [sp]Balder[/sp] than most Doctors, with the exception of William Hartnell.[/QUOTE] Fun fact. William Hartnell was completely bald. He was wearing a wig. Paul Mcgann had the same amount of hair as Chris but the produces thought it was a TERRIBLE idea and would ruin Doctor Who. And snogging companions and becoming half human was EXACTLY what she show was when Tom Baker was still in it :P So Paul had to wear a wig too.
I didn't think that was the finale, not been following the 2nd half of this series that much. I did enjoy the episode though, even if the "Alternate history" thing was overused. I was really surprised that the season finale was a single episode though, very surprised.
Same here. Though I guess as the series has had such a potent story arc, a single part is fine.
I think it's pretty clear Moffat wanted the series to be longer than 13 episodes.

[editline]3rd October 2011[/editline] [QUOTE=Wikipedia]At the end of Book I of the Cambridge Latin Course, Caecilius and his family perish in Pompeii on the day of the eruption. This episode creates an alternate ending to their story, where they are rescued by the Doctor and move to Rome.[/quote] Damn you, James Moran!
I think the Fires of Pompeii was a good example of how the Doctor takes it up the arse from time, but he doesn't always have to. Not everybody had to die there, he just thought they had to.
if we find out the doctors real name i will throw my television out the window then sob to myself as i fondle my Leela action figure also, i read this on the doctor who facebook group: "David tennent is the only actor in Dr. Who , who can act perfectly..." 1. he dose not act perfectly, near perfect, but not perfectly 2. there are many who are the same if not better than him die in many holes [editline]3rd October 2011[/editline] [QUOTE=Jojje;32595114]meh. doubt it. it's kinda anticlimactic. and didn't one companion who learned his name say that it was extremely difficult to pronounce also yeah having a name for him at all is a bad idea i think. you're bound to disappoint someone.[/QUOTE] me

Moffat said years back learning the Doctors name would be the worse thing ever. [QUOTE=ElectronicG19;32611251]You can't blanket the specials like that, Waters of Mars was stellar.[/QUOTE] I beg to fucking differ. Although Waters of Mars is good, The End of Time, The Planet of the Dead and The Next Doctor are not.
