christmas specials are to appease the masses, the real episodes are dotted about in the main series
Last night I had a thought about The Impossible Astronaut. Isn't the whole going to look for Canton because he was at the funeral, and the doctor invited him because he knew of him from that, a paradox?

Not really, its an infinite loop, not a paradox. Timey wimey.
But surely circular time would create some kind of whirlpool in the big ball of wibbly-wobbly timey-wimey, like a storm in the atmosphere of a gas giant? (Big Red Spot on Jupiter)
it's called a closed time circuit, I believe. Not paradox-y, won't kill anything.
Closed time circuits have always been around, I'm sure theres a Tennant example
It's actually called a Predestination paradox (also called a closed time loop/circuit) The problem with this paradox is that information appears from nothing. Very timey wimey.
You can use predestination paradoxes to solve NP-complete problems.
That's awesome. Now to solve that travelling trough time remains impossible issue. [editline]edit[/editline] Are you in Computer Science, Dain?

Is it bad that I listen to "I Am The Doctor" on YouTube at least once every two weeks?
Yeah you're not playing it often enough.

Oh man. Sorry I'm so late to the party everyone, but I just recently started watching Doctor Who. The latest season enticed me, and I watched a few episodes, but I decided I had to start from the beginning. I've watched seasons 1 + 2 now, and was I the only one who was on the verge of tears the entire ending of Season 2? Honestly I don't think a show has made me that sad before.
I'll just leave this here:
I want that Seven Nation Army remix, myself. The video was cool too, though.
The White Stripes and Glitch Mob? A combination of some of my favourite artists AND my one of my favourite shows? Can you say "fucking awesome"?
My favourite Doctor Who Song is easy The Doctor is Dying. It may be Trock but it still counts! I made this too if you haven't seen it. The video not the song. Somebody posted MY video on Facebook the other day. Got a warm fuzzy feeling. What Trock song should I video-lize next? Thinking Kiss The Girl will be fun
Charlieissocoollike makes loads of Dr Who stuff.
Man, I wished I started watching this earlier. I just finished watching Series 1 and 2 and all the while watching Tom Baker's Doctor. Why didn't I know of the Doctor before?!

Say what you want about the End of Time, the goodbye scenes were heartbreaking.
