I just started watching this show and I'm already hooked.
10th Doctor is my favorite. I'm looking at getting a sonic screwdriver like his an and outfit that is similar to his for Halloween. Not so much a costume as I'll just be using normal clothes that I could possibly wear every day.
The sonic screwdrivers are expensive as fuck though. Or at least the good ones are.
Fuck yes we made Pascall a fan. Now we shall rule the world of at least Facepunch.

i have a tip, don't buy the collectors screwdrivers, they're usually a little less detailed and they don't make sounds, for halloween you can easily find a 10th doctor toy screwdriver
I'm looking at this one.
It's expensive, but it has a lot of cool shit like lighting up and sound effects, so it'd be worth it.

oh yeah, that's the one i was thinking of, i wouldn't really think that was to expensive, especially if you'll get use from it
i have 2, 1 i found in an empty locker at a swimming pool, not sure if someone had put it there then not locked it or if they had left it, i feel bad...
I used to have one of those ones. I lost it, though. They're pretty good.
I think vladnag has evlbzltyr's lost screwdriver.
Do you guys think a Doctor Who cinema movie would be a good idea or not?
A summery of the time war would be good with the 8th Doctor becoming the 9th.
That'd be fucking terrible.
I doubt we'll see INSERT ENEMY HERE, INSERT ENEMY HERE already came back.
Apply to any enemy which has appeared twice.
After introduction Davros was in every Dalek story till 2005.
Yeah but hes not just any enemy, hes the creator of the fucking Daleks.
That'd be fucking terrible.
Why?
You just can't put the Time War into perspective, and if you tried it'd have to be the biggest showdown in Who history. Trying to fit that into an hour and a half would never, ever do it justice.

I would however love to go to the cinema one day to see Doctor Who, but the story would have to be pretty fucking Epic.
They made some of the old Dalek stories into movies in the 60's, but they suck really bad.

Matt Smith > David Tennant.

Well, now that I think about it, they do look OK for a movie from the 60's, but they swapped around so much stuff (actors, plot lines) it barely resembles Doctor Who. For example, they make the Doctor's last name "Who", literary making him Doctor Who.

Opinions, opinions. Many people think Tom Baker was the best Doctor (I think he was a bit overrated), Jon Pertwee was my favourite because he knew when to be serious and when to be comical and he only quit because the guy who originally played the Master died.
I love me some Peter Davison.

The Doctor as a Human is just weird, I've that the Actor who played the Doctor was in Star Wars. It was nice to see early 'Who' in colour though.
If they did a movie these days I'd expect it to tie in with the TV show.
I remember an old movie where it was basically a remake of the 1st ever episode except they lived in a house and the doctor built the tardis in his backyard god i fucking raged

that is the movie i remember
A lot of Aussies posting in this thread.
Nice.
There should be a poll about whether a Doctor Who movie would have the Daleks or the Master. I don't know how popular the Cybermen are.
None of them, far too cliche'.

Oh, page king. I love Cybermen, Cybermen are cool.

"The Clone Wars would be an awesome movie! Clones! Jedis! Young Obi-wan and Darth Vader! Ah that'd be so fucking awesome"
-People in the 80's.
And the exact reason Moff says we should never explore the time war. Imagination is always better.
I personally think it should turn out 8 regenerates in a multi doctor story. 8 should spend the whole episode asking 10 and 11 how he regenerates (8 was obsessed with spoilers). He should be zapped by a Silence whilst trying to save Eleven.
Obviously as he was shot by a silence he'd have no memory of what caused him to regenerate. Which is why the audience never saw it when the series started, because not even The Doctor knew what caused it.
[editline]18th October 2011[/editline]
Also I still want a Davros/Master story line.
Also why didn't John Simms master simply regenerate after his injuries? Be cool if he comes back even more damaged and mental from escaping the time lock. Then boom regeneration into a saner, sophisticated, smarter Master. Benedict Cumberbatch or Patrick Stewart would do.

As long as it's at the cinema and Epic.
No. The 50th anniversary belongs on tv like all the others.
Doctor Who + Movie = Shit
Every time.
I kind of agree with Dan. History doesn't speak well for DW movies.
