Which scene?
All of them o_o
All of them o_o
There is no sound from the scene in 90% of them, all on mute layer except for when the characters talk. The rest is just soundtrack.
Yeah, you can have multiple tracks for audio in Vegas, easy to make a soundscape...
Not sure what you mean, do you want me to add sounds in or remove them? My style is to have no sound from the scenes unless the character is talking. Maybe the occasional explosion, but I feel it sometimes ruins the atmosphere of the soundtrack.
Am very much liking that the Doctor's enemies are still teaming up against him even with, I assume, the large alliance at the end of series one disbanded. Looking forward to seeing how The Silence fit into it all.. We still don't know what Silence will fall means aha :P

Yeah I hope Silence Will Fall is much more than what we got :/

The kind of soundscaping im talking about is footsteps and explosions, im not being picky at all, i enjoyed it, but it was noticeable...

Speech is fine because they lower their soundtrack then. I would have added explosions etc, but the ones I had were too cheesy for my liking and it took away the atmosphere of the soundtrack. I guess you could call my trailer, more of a montage than an actual trailer.
Kudos to anyone who can find the mistake in my trailer :v:
"Friendship lies and true love dies." "Friendship dies and true love lies."
Colonel Runaway doesn't seem to understand the problems that lie in editing.
"Friendship lies and true love dies." "Friendship dies and true love lies."
Kudos to you :) Very few noticed it, even me :suicide:

How did you get the footage that clear/where did you get it? Only reason I saw it is because I'm far too much of a fangirl for my own good, I'm afraid.

http://www.play.com/DVD/Blu-ray/4-/19249604/Doctor-Who-Series-6-Part-1/Product.html?searchtype=allproducts&searchsource=0&searchstring=doctor+who+series+6&urlrefer=search Series 6 Part 1 is available for £17.99 on Blu-ray from July 11th. Now that is a good deal :D
Should give it to me... ...i make soundscapes into soundvistas...
I'll look into it on my next one, not too much of a fan of it personally but i'll see if a learn anything new from it!
Don't worry :v: I do see what you mean though, mind you i'm sick and tired of the trailer now after watching it 50 times :suicide:
I hate that feeling. When I made a music video for my media coursework, I didn't want to see it or hear the song that accompanied it EVER AGAIN after spending so freaking long editing it. [editline]19th June 2011[/editline] Also, damn, I had a dream last night I was sat playing some bizarre board game at my dining room table with the Doctor... weird... [editline]19th June 2011[/editline] Interesting article about the series reshuffle:
The last week or so has seen something of a panic spread through some Doctor Who fans all sparked by a fairly damning article in Private Eye claiming that all was not hunky-dory in the production team, mentioning that problems included “…re-ordering episodes and finding creative reasons for spectacular monsters and CGI creations to be given as little screen-time as possible to save cash…”. All of which will sound eerily familiar to anyone who’s read The Writer’s Tale or for that matter knows anything about the production of the series since 1963. The aspect of the article that war responsible for the loudest wailing and the most gnashing of teeth was the claim that BBC wales had proposed a cut-down series for 2012. It soon emerged that while there would be a full series of thirteen episodes produced in 2012 though not all of those episodes would be transmitted in 2012. According to a reliable poster the sole reason for the delay in the start of production on Series Seven is simply to move the transmissions to darker times of year. The same poster goes on to assure that Danny Cohen’s comments at Church and Media Conference on Tuesday that “He [Moffat] needs enough time to get that [Sherlock] done and then start work on the next series of Doctor Who,” was joking. Yes, he doesn’t sound like he’s joking. But, like someone not a million miles away from this keyboard, Cohen apparently has “a very, very dry sense of humor and deadpan delivery, and unless you can see him say it as well (preferably in close-up), you can’t tell.” It certainly looks like the production and transmission pattern used for the 2011 series will be repeated for Series Seven, it’s just being moved five months further down the calendar. Instead of starting filming in September as Series Six did, Series Seven will probably commence in February. And as with the current series the transmission of Series Seven will be broken up in to two blocks of episodes, the first should start broadcasting in October/November 2012 with the second broadcasting in February/March 2013 with the Christmas Special keeping its usual airdate, which will now be mid-series. The poster goes on to note that as ever, the BBC hasn’t officially commissioned any further episodes. The BBC rarely commissions a programme for more than one series at a time. However, unofficially it is pretty much a certainty that the series will be commissioned for at least another two years. So, there you have it. The shocking news is that we’re going to have to wait about as long between Series Six and Seven as we did between Series Five and Six.
For fucks sake BBC give doctor who whatever money it needs, it's you flag ship show.
But, why? The whole point of splitting the series was so we wouldn't have to wait as long for the next series to start.
I always suspected they wanted to move the show to darker times. The whole Series 6 split to me looked like an excuse to test ratings. Have a few episodes during the summer, a few during the darker and see if the weather is the genuine reason people aren't watching. The Series 6 mid series cliffhanger looked rushed as sin. It was hyped as a piece of genius yet the only 'cliff hanger' there was 'Where has The Doctor gone?' Plus ratings DOUBLE during the darker months. We could end up with an average of 10 to 12 million viewers a week. Then the BBC can launch sensational headlines like "Doctor Who doubles ratings" to draw even more of an audience in. [editline]19th June 2011[/editline] After they got a few ratings in for the second part they'll announce the plan for 2012, watch. [editline]19th June 2011[/editline] And to be honest. I don't mind Doctor Who in the darker months. It seems nothing but good to me.

"darker months" sound like some sort of time of the year where dragons and monsters roam around Britain and keep people indoors watching Television. You do still have Dragons in Britain, right?
