Err... How does that stop you from drinking maybe a beer or two? You don't get really drunk from that.
Don't make assumptions please! I known my own limitations and have to stick by them. The condition is called Ehlers Danlos Syndrome, which leads to my joints dislocating every single day of the year. Doesn't that clear things up for you or do you want me to discuss further?
you just need some kind of moderator to make them more stiff to balance out the alcohol
Also, I could do it if I had leg callipers or something, but then I would look like I have Polio!
Don't rush it, have fun. The right one will come for you.
Are you talking about beer or the girlfriend thing?
quote
I won't change that because the many times I have tasted different alcoholic drinks I have always hated it. I have no plans of touching alcohol anytime ever.
It changes
What do you mean? It will in a few years time maybe, I can't buy alcohol yet.
I disagree, I'm 19 and still dislike beer because I think it tastes horrible.
Also that one time I had a really really really bad "drunk" back when I was 16. :saddowns:
Beer is horrid.
Try mixing drinks.
Also, secretly looking forward to Torchwood even though knowing it will not be the same as before.
I bet it won't be any different. Bet it will be better too.

dilute vodka with juice
Camping is good, all nighters. Got a few planned for the summer with lots of alcohol! Luckily rain never spoil my last one, all I remember was all of us getting in my mates car to a farm during a free at college to steal wood and put it in the back boot..
THE WOOD NEVER EVEN BURNED LATER THAT NIGHT :colbert:
I'm going for a big walk with my mates and we're taking tents. Multiple parties over summer, too.
Summer 2011 best summer.

Doctor Who V7 - Every now and then, we go hilariously off topic
Doctor Who V7 - We always go hilariously off topic
Thing is, we haven't got anything Doctor Who related to talk about. I have an idea, why don't we call the thread Doctor Who and General Chat?
[editline]22nd June 2011[/editline]
I bet out of all the Doctors, the Tenth Doctor was the one who always got wasted and cried despite sitting in the bath ten minutes earlier laughing about a rubber duck.
[editline]22nd June 2011[/editline]
The Ninth Doctor gets really fucking mad when drunk
[editline]22nd June 2011[/editline]
The Eighth Doctor gets with some girl he forgets.
[editline]22nd June 2011[/editline]
The Eleventh Doctor pretends to be wasted because he's the designated driver and doesn't want to miss out
Brilliant! ahahaha!
Or we could post fanart until we run out.

Sorry to bring it up again, but we had a similiar dilemma in the MLP thread before it was "banned". When the season ended everything just went offtopic as hell, and in the end there were multiple off-topic bans and the thread was basically filled to the brim with red members. If I recall, we couldn't even post fanart without being banned for offtopicness.
We kind of came to agree that we could move to Chat Threads because there we could discuss the show but also be offtopic and continuosly keep the thread alive with fanart and noncanon stuff.
Just saying we could potentially do the same with this thread, since it would give the thread a healthy little boost?
[editline]22nd June 2011[/editline]
Reason you're likely seeing less bans here for offtopic is because it isn't as heavily guarded from trolls.

We went almost a whole year without any Doctor Who between Series 5 and 6, and 85% of the time we managed to keep discussion on-topic. :colbert:
We should actually do that thing where we write our own scripts. Only this time not have, like, two different series going on at the same time, and... Well, y'know... Actually do it :v:

Well... you have several seasons behind you and actual deep story-arcs. So you have more to discuss than we did from one season and 26 episodes.

We don't need a Doctor Who chat thread. That is why we created the Doctor Who tinychat page, so it wouldn't clog up the thread. Creating a chat thread would create more problems than it would solve and there are only about 10 or so regulars anyway.

Well then - why the worry of being off-topic? :v:
So true, all we need is this thread and the tinychat to discuss stuff. It's probably because most of us are more mature than the average MLP fan, adhering to the topic most times. Hell, I bet even our resident Swedish Dalek is more mature and adherant than the average MLP'er. (not to say that there aren't any mature and reasonable MLP'ers, i'm sure that there's at least a few of them on Earth) Our relative maturity means that we've got at least 5 tentacles on the wheel, like Cthulhu driving with his prehensile moustache (ain't THAT a picture to behold?), and we aren't too easily distracted, so we stay on the road unless somebody throws a massive rave party in the back seat with booming drum & base and alcoholic jello-shots.
Also Acezorz, who's the guy in your avatar again?

No but really, the reason you all can keep on topic is because Doctor Who has been going on since the 60s, many hundreds of episodes and a great variety of plot points that make the fans speculate on what happens next and what is what, etc. etc.
MLP has had one season, so firstly there is nothing to discuss and secondly... well, it's ponies, how ontopic can you be with that, really?
steve buscemi
Also Acezorz, who's the guy in your avatar again?
It's Steve Buscemi in the Boardwalk Empire introduction.
I agree keeping this on-topic by having projects such as the scripts or maybe that TARDIS project I floated a couple of pages back. These are both relevant to the thread and gives us all something to do as a group.
Also can we please stop discussing MLP-related shite? There's a reason the threads got nuked, because they were cesspits of absolute crap.
It's probably because most of us are more mature than the average MLP fan
Because the average age of people who watch My Little Pony is 8

I guess the vast length of the Doctor Who franchise helps supply us with abundant lore and stuff, making it easier for us to have something to talk about.
Also, regeneration is an INGENIOUS technique for extending a show's longevity, since the star can always keep on being around without a need for too many reboots and/or retcons. 47 years it's kept this show afloat, slightly more time than my mum's been around. (she was born early December '63, just over a week after the first ever episode aired)

How about we don't talk for a while so I can stretch out my time as thread owner :v:

And why does the steering wheel look like a bike wheel?
Hinted at last month, a 10-part interactive Torchwood comic is coming soon to iTunes App Store, BBC Worldwide has announced.
Entitled Web of Lies, it will tie-in with the events of Torchwood: Miracle Day. The story features Captain Jack and Gwen and a new character called Holly Mokri, voiced by Eliza Dushku.

Exactly.
I just wonder, though, isn't a timelord restricted to 13 regenerations? What happens then?
