Now that I think about it, why didn't I plug in my drawing tablet and draw properly?
I don't get it.
In "The Beast Below", when he was looking at the glasses of water, he made up the excuse that he was "looking for an escaped fish".
[editline]22nd June 2011[/editline]
Still not that funny though
It should have been three panels long.
The first two recreating the bit where he looked at the glasses of water.
Then the third should have been that last panel.
I wonder what DW is gonna look like in 30-35 years.
It'll probably be like a sort of "interactive experience", stimulating all five senses as you observe from INSIDE the episode, kind of like if you were using an Animus to relive one's memories, as if you were really there. THAT would be the future of TV and games.
Man, i'd LOVE to experience the Whoniverse as if I were really there. Wouldn't we all? All we need is someone to invent something like an Animus, but instead of translating memories from one's DNA (IMO that's impossible), you'd have pre-recorded "memories" to experience, like popping a video into your VCR or a cartridge into your NES.
Imagine the possibilities. Band of Brothers with that technology, or better yet; Genesis of the Daleks.
Bah. Why is it that every good show has to break during spring and come back in autumn? That's a whole summer of nothing to look forward to except after it.
[editline]22nd June 2011[/editline]
I'm probably late, but I just now realize that in the first episode of S1, Eccleston was basically just done regenerating. I remember he looked into a mirror and was shocked at how big his ears was.
[editline]22nd June 2011[/editline]
Actually, scratch the "probably". It's from bloody 2005, goddamnit.
Just read this, so probably late replying, but this is actually a bit of a production error/ambiguous thing. Yeah, he looks in a mirror, but surely he must already know what he looks like - I mean, he appeared in multiple photographs and paintings through time for that guy to have archived. I think that perhaps he just didn't have any particular reason to pay what he looked like too much interest, and was just perhaps reviewing himself in the mirror.

History can change. During those few moments he was away to us, he could have been gone for a few weeks doing other stuff :v:
If we do do this script thing, what would be the story arc? Continuing from 6x07, or writing a new season?

Perhaps the Doctor in that 200 years where he was alone again or something... could be something that happened alongside series 5/6, or separate. I don't think it really matters.

Time travel he might have gone and done those things with rose.
Doctor alone again in-between Christmas Special and getting invited to his own funeral.

I think after he gives the speech to Rose about the earth spinning, he hops into the TARDIS and does a few adventures before coming back.

All Points Bulletin is an amazing game, and everybody should play it.
@Cactusman Nothing DW Related? How about this: What do you think is gonna happen in lets kill hitler? Maybe Danny-Boy's Return? The Doctor Seeing how this page is entirely about alchohol and camping and desides to kill someone conveniently called hitler?
And Dalek? That part where the spy puts both arms up in your vid when 10 looked at his arms is hilarious, he doesn't know if he's regenerating or not?
If we do do this script thing, what would be the story arc? Continuing from 6x07, or writing a new season?
There is always implied adventures in Doctor Who. So, why not fill in some of those gaps. Anytime between Series 1 to Series 6 would be a good starting point.

What server are you on? I love it, was going to create the doctor but couldn't find a bow tie :suicide: So might make Tennant.
Say what you want about RTD. Children of Earth was amazing, and this looks more of the same tone

So when I watched the Weeping Angels 2 parter in season 5, What I gathered was that Rivers Song killed the doctor. Furthermore the fact that the creepy lady wants to use her as a weapon against the doctor, BUT.
When the astronaut goes back into the water, post Doctor Zapping, Rivers shoots at it. Also, the fact that she had no memory of the situation kind leaves me to question whether or not she's the killer. But later we see that the silence made that space suit for melody / rivers. Its safe to assume the child is rivers, so WTF.
Edit:
Howdy from across the pond!

River left the suit in the 60's. That's why it was empty when the Doctor and River were examining it. She literally broke out.
Sometime between then and 2011, somebody came back and put the suit on.

Since the finale aired I've seen nothing but Matt Smith HATE on the official Doctor Who Facebook comments.

wrong
No, Dalek, don't rate me disagree. You are wrong. Pertwee used guns, Baker used guns, Ecclestone almost used a gun, Tennant almost used a gun, Smith used a gun.

People love to be disappointed and even more love pushing people before they fall.
Rory is in the suit because he is mad the doctor shagged his daughter.
