Of any who.
To be honest, I can see why smith appeals to more people. He's more 'fun' than the others there've been in the past (if you know what I'm getting at).
On a slightly unrelated note, does anyone have a link to that t-shirt with all the doctors on, but they kind of don't have a face? It sounds daft, but I hope someone knows which one I mean...
The one where Tennant has the 3d glasses on? It was a Teefury tee. One day only.

:saddowns: To be honest, I might do that 'rasterbating' thing and get a massive poster of it on my wall.
Who was everyone's favourite timelord then? Mine's David Tennant, I don't really know why. I probably just loved the 3D glasses thing. "Time Stuff"
Tom Baker, quite obviously.
Tom Baker and Matt Smith are the best.
Guys, is there a way of building a TARDIS on minecraft, but have it transport to anywhere in the world?
Was thinking we should build some alien worlds too etc :v:

Closest thing I can think of is making a nether portal :v:
I love Tennett and Smith equally.

There's probably a mod for it.

Yeah, they're completely different Doctors, and I think Tennant could've been even better if Moffat was writing his stories instead of RTD.
Got a theory. The Doctor who did die is a clone, but a clone created by the Silence. You see, I think the Ganger stuff was influenced by the Silence. River mentions how the Doctor knowing about his death or interacting with his future self could rip space, like in The Pandorica Opens. The aim of the Silence there was obviously to do the same, end the universe because the cracks lead to that point.
So I think, the Silence created this ganger Doctor because they would know the past Doctor would do anything he could to stop his death (as he's messed with time before) and the interaction with himself would destroy the Universe.. the Silence would not even have to do anything, only to influence it all by creating the Doctor's death.
I don't think their aim was to kill the Doctor all along. They could have "silently" done it when nobody was around and his friends would assume he's just gone missing. They obviously wanted them to witness it because the Silence knew they were human, they knew they wouldn't resist keeping a secret as bad as that from the man they really trust, they wouldn't want to see him die would they? So they'd be urged to tell him.
Maybe the cracks created are from an event in the future such as this, the present Doctor messing the timeline up of his future self, thus the Silence taking advantage of these cracks to do what i've already said. Like one of them timey wimey loop things :v: Just a theory.
By the way, feel free to rip all this up

Hold the fucking phone- some sites and fans (Even casual fans on Facebook) are acting like A Good Man Goes to War was THE worst episode ever. Worse than Love and Monsters!
What the fuck?
I love it.

You should read the comments on Doctor Who TV, it's amazing how people can quickly switch from hating RTD and loving Moffat and hating Moffat and wishing RTD would return. They were actually complaining about how the series actually have a developing plot!

People wouldn't know a good episode if it slapped them in the face with Ood tentacles...

This gave me rage. There was one guy that said (paraphrasing): "Moffat's just like the Wizard of Oz - all big voice and magic tricks, but it turns out he's just a guy behind a curtain", then continued to slag him off and was all like "Bluh, bluh, remember the good RTD days?" :colbert:
If anything I would say A Good Man was the most RTD-like episode Moff has done ever. Fucking idiots.

Hahaa, yeah! Emotional Doctor, lovey-dovey moments, character pile-in, cheesy reveal. Very RTD.

Please tell me more of these 'good RTD days'
HNNNNGGG broke my automerge!
I liked the Tennant era. I found no major flaws in RTDs writing. :saddowns:

There was nothing drastically wrong with it as such, to give him his credit what he wrote was certainly okay. But he always ALWAYS fell into a certain style, and more often than not, he was very cheesy/bland/over the top. There was no subtlety or control of style like Moffat has. With Moffat, you can see the amount of intelligence and wit that has been painstakingly put into it. RTD just looks like he's slapped it onto the paper and gone "Yep. That's what Doctor Who is about."
[IMG][/IMG]
Anudder wallpaper.
How can I get this? =o
Guaranteed RTD had some sort of template where he'd write in a planet, a year, an alien, an Evil Plan, and a Win Button for each of his episodes.
Oh, and a "WHO ARE THE REAL MONSTERS" box that he'd either tick or not, depending on his mood.
I think RTD faults where that he over used certain plots elements such as the daleks which made them something not to be scared of and he did not developed the story lines leading up to the final episodes. I did like the final episodes they were often quite epic and they put a smile on my face but they did become a bit tiresome towards the end.
I'm pretty happy we won't see RTD anywhere near DW again. At least not in the years to come. (Unless.. You know.. The unthinkable happens. Like.. Moffat dying :ohdear:)
I can remember curling up under the sofa when the Daleks entered the scene. Then I watched new-Who and.. well..
My main problem with RTD was that it was just too cliche. I mean that reaction gif that has become so prominent in the thread is a perfect example of what I'm talking about.
[editline]13th June 2011[/editline]
However, not all of his episodes were completely terrible, and he sometimes pulled off dark stories quite well. Turn Left was probably my favourite episode from series 4 aside from Silence in the Libary/Forest of the Dead.
