Just finished watching the Series 3 finale. And yeah, it's not bad, but it's... Average, I guess, compared to the amazingness of series 5.
The last 20 minutes of the finale ruined it for me; the rest was pretty solid.

Thy shouldn't have made the Doctor grow older, they shouldn't have had the Master beaten by the POWER OF PRAYER... There were some excellent moments in those two episodes, with the Master gassing the rest of the cabinet and whatnot. Moved onto the second series now. Maybe it's because I havent't seen it in aaaaages, but I never picked up on the Torchwood-esque music during the pre-credits sequence.
Dan did the Doctor/Amy pose and Jake got an arm round the shoulder. Envy much.
She put her arm round me but I politely said no and asked about a pose. :) I was the only one judging by the table at the end of the show :) :) (Apart from a back to back one and a few hugs) [editline]10th July 2011[/editline]
I'm sorry, what?
They had 800 limited edition pictures. They must've been A5 size and had two pictures of Karen doing her modelling and one of her in he middle from Doctor Who. Looks really fucking awesome. Now I can hang it on my wall. I can put a sexy picture of Karen on my wall and my family will not judge! :P [editline]10th July 2011[/editline]
Definitely. Unless I'm being nit picky I'm generally fine with every finale. I enjoyed them all and was on the edge of my seat. As much as I hate season 2, I can't say it's all flawed. [editline]10th July 2011[/editline]
Also, @Dan / Jake - JEALOUSYYYYYY. Next time the cast of DW are around and about, I'm definitely going to wherever they are if it's possible. Not toxxing it, 'cuz I'm a wimp, but I'll try my hardest :v:
Yes! We ALL should do it! And meet up! [editline]10th July 2011[/editline] We should add eachother on Google Plus too! I'd love a 'Doctor Who Thread Circle'
I'm over 18 on my Google account.
Ahh, I see. Dangnabbit, 2 more weeks...
See you all on Google+ in three-ish months :v:
A Doctor Who meet is long overdue, the last one I planned turned out to just be me and Jess from these threads, but another one with more people sometime later this year would be fun. Problem is, where? I know people here are scattered all over the country, so somewhere central would be prudent.

It'll be like one big happy family!
Well, where are most of us located?
Well, I'm basically just outside of London... Dunno 'bout everyone else.
Anyone else miss the Tennant reign show opening? I hate the new one
I'm between Bath and Swindon
I'm between London and Birmingham. Nothing ever happens, but it's easy to get to where stuff is happening.
You're all southerners.. :(
I'm a midlander! Both Birmingham and London are well connected though, so either would be good [editline]10th July 2011[/editline]
Let's Kill Hitler airdate when
September 3rd as far as I'm aware
I vote Cardiff... ...just sayin'
A Doctor Who meet is long overdue, the last one I planned turned out to just be me and Jess
And danthebib [editline]10th July 2011[/editline]
I vote Cardiff... ...just sayin'
That's actually a pretty nice idea. But maybe we ought to save Cardiff for when the Experience moves down there next year. Also, next year I'll be studying in Cardiff, so there'd be room for some of you to crash at mine.
You're all southerners.. :(
I'm the northernest of all of you
And danthebib [editline]10th July 2011[/editline]
I only omitted his name because I never really see him in the thread :v:
I'm so western compared to you guys I'm across the pond.
I can only do London. Not till I have a job though. [editline]10th July 2011[/editline]
I only omitted his name because I never really see him in the thread :v:
Sly dog wanted it to sound like a date ;)
If some of you guys haven't got one, I really recommend you invest in a 16-25 railcard. It's saving me HEAPS
Karen Gillan shouldn't be sexy. She's unnaturally skinny. Unnaturally pale. And Ginger. But my god. It all works! [editline]10th July 2011[/editline]
If some of you guys haven't got one, I really recommend you invest in a 16-25 railcard. It's saving me HEAPS
If you travel a lot..
I'm in Scotland... I'll probably never be able to meet any of you.
If you travel a lot..
This. All i need is the Aldi over the road and a internet connection, why go other places? :D
I'm in Scotland... I'll probably never be able to meet any of you.
Tickets aren't that expensive if you book in advance, and combine that with a railcard like Jess was saying and you have some pretty sweet deals.
