Tickets aren't that expensive if you book in advance, and combine that with a railcard like Jess was saying and you have some pretty sweet deals.
Travel isn't the problem, I'm 15 though. My parents probably wouldn't like me travelling to somewhere far from home to meet random people on the internet.
Ah yeah, I keep forgetting how young some of the members on here are..

Three months away from my 18th and my parents are still pretty much like this. If I brought a friend it'd probably be cool, I'd just say I was going to wherever with them... Or, at least, I could just pretend I was going with a friend :v:
My dad just likes to know approximately where I am and it's all good.

On this small peaceful isle of Albion, there is little need for such distinctions between North and South, unlike the massive lands of America or the war-torn peninsula of Korea. We're all British (except our Swedish Dalek and a few American regulars, but they're still cool), and that's what matters.

I wish I was born in the UK, all the cool stuff happen there.
while you're all arguing over a couple hundred miles north or south, I'm stuck down here in the corner (aka Portugal) :(
And speaking of the dr. Who experience thing, when does it move to cardiff?
At least it's above 15 celsius in Portugal.
Alright, no more ranting.
Might preorder Still Got Legs tomorrow, if I remember.

Well, I guess technically speaking it'd be "later today", but whatever :v:
Superawesome (but superpainfullyexpensive) Still Got Legs/TARDIS converse:

Tbh, those shoes are daylight robbery, they shouldn't be too hard to make. Looks to me like a fabric transfer on top of a load of daubed-on blue dye.

Saw 'em on Alex Day's twitter; look okay, but not "$150-okay". For $150, they're kinda shabby-looking.
I got season 1 on DVD for one Christmas, a pair of white converses from Christmas the year after that, then a fob watch the next.
I be sensing a pattern here.
guys hey guys hey guys guess what
It would be great to meet for shenanigans.
I'm, sort of scared now O_o
I'm from Lincoln but I can get a train to London in an hour and fairly cheap, we should meet for an event where there are cast or such to make it extra s.p.e.c.i.a.l.
double post.

Nope. just looked like one, their goes what I wrote.

Anyways, as I said in the moving message I typed with all my heart and erased earlier, I wish I could get the chance to hang out with fellow FP'ers/Doctor Who fans.
This is because I only know two people I can have a decent conversation with about Doctor Who. ones obsessed with the army and the others a artsy borderline weeaboo. So a you can read, my conservation partners aren't the best.

How do you know we aren't all army obsessed weeaboo lovers :) but on another note I think it could be an awesome time!

On a side note my friend is so taken by Karen that he consistently depressed he is not near her, at this moment in time he is writing a letter to her telling her how much he loves her and how much he would love her to sign the tee shirt with a picture of him and her, he will also write to request meeting up with her. He asked what his chances of her replying were and I said 2/10, do you agree?

He did.
He did.
Then, whats the problem? :tinfoil:
He wants to see her again?
He wants to see her again?
Go to the next Comicon then :v:
