Sorry guys but £93 for a return on the train is a bit to pricey at the moment :(
[editline]20th July 2011[/editline]
If the date would of been somewhere around 1st-5th it would of been fine as I am actually going on holiday there then.
Me and Dain found out at certain times of the day, the prices of train tickets decreases loads, but it would mean staying in Cardiff overnight!

Would you be staying from the 24th to the 25th?
Also, is any of you guys from around the Liverpool area? It looks like my return flight time would have me spending half a day in Liverpool. Anything worth visiting?
I was pleased to find this in my shed(I don't know how old it is, probably 3 or more years):

September 3rd, according to Jess iirc.
Anyway, Dain, that's one of the nights I'll be staying in Cardiff, too.
Also, here's my ugly mug:

Well... Who's bringing the cake then?
Oh and Dan, food for thought: David Hewlett as the Doctor (with a British accent, maybe)
I hope Acezorz doesn't have another stroke on this meet up.
From what I remember he's had a few in this thread.
I wonder how many regenerations he got left.

So tempted to make a MLP Dr. Whoves mask and wear it.
Right, I've listened to the whole of Still Got Legs and given songs time to grow on me if they require it. And I'm really digging it. In some cases the song is giving me a whole new outlook on old episodes. I now feel a lot more emotionally invested in The End of Time then I was the first time round. Pretty sweet actually.
If you think about it, on Gallifrey, there must've been one guy who kept getting strokes and eventually used up all his regenerations on them :v:
Oh, and my shirt still hasn't arrived. I've pretty much resigned myself to the fact that it's never gonna come now.

What about a Doctor Who themed MLP, drawn in Anime style, with an anime Doctor riding it, on a shirt?

i'll be wired to a life support machine, don't worry.

this would break my life support machine
No wonder everyone in this thread are going on about torchwood... I haven't watched any of it before, and I'm currently about half way through Miracle Day.
This is absolutely amazing. How have I never watched this?! It does feel that not watching the previous series kind of leaves me out of the 'circle'-- reckon I'll be able to catch up?

If only plane tickets from northern Norway to the UK were cheaper...
Speaking of cheap tickets... if I am to do this I need to book my flight before prices get unbearable (damned ryanair raises them by the hour, literally) so how many confirmations do we have?
If only plane tickets from northern Norway to the UK were cheaper...
Ryanair :v:
Unfortunately, they have no flights in my region of Norway. I have to get to Oslo first, before taking a flight to the UK. I think it's.. around.. at least 100 quid, or so, for a flight to Oslo.

Anyway, if this so happens to happen next year, then i will gladly come along, but im all booked up from the 4th of august to the end of that month...
Sorry if this is late:

Eccleston fully explains why he left Doctor Who.
If true then respect and admiration for Eccleston just rose a hundred fold.
That news came out last year or so. He really hated working on Doctor Who because he felt bullied. I said this a few pages back.

I know one day John Barrowman pulled down his trousers on set and everybody was laughing but Chris got really upset. He took things really seriously.
If he came back now he'd enjoy it more.

As y'know. None of the directors from his time were brought into the Moffat era. Well atleast the main ones. Maybe Moff had a problem with them too.
Wow, fair enough, I had never realised it was like that. I know the media just threw around the idea he was worried about being typecast. Nevertheless, I think it is a little sad that he won't even consider a new return now its under "new management"...
