The more I think about US movie the more I am annoyed at RTD for making it cannon.
I've never seen the TV movie and don't know really why it's so unforgiveably horrible, why it should be purged off of the face of the earth and why I should join the bandwagon of hate also! So FP, inform me. :bandwagon:

Did he really make it cannon?
Also, doesn't keeping the brain active help delay the seriousness of alzheimers? Not stopping it, but not making it become as worse, as quick?
I'm not sure about that, but there's a medicine that "disguises" the symptoms and make you more capable of functioning as a normal human. However, that medicine does not stop, nor halt the progress which will eventually lead to you being immune to that medicine. (Correct me if I'm wrong please)
I didn't realise that RTD shot it out the side of a ship.
I made a TARDIS model somewhere on Cinema 4D, was quite impressed with it. I think I showed it here but one of you mentioned the lens flare or that the light was shining wrong, you know the one with the Earth behind it? :v:
I said it needed lens flares

He made the guy who played the doctor in it the 8th doctor so I believe it is considered cannon but I'm going to put all the 'I'm half human' stuff down to the doctor being delirious from just regenerating.
You can always try here. As a warning, that site doesn't contain the Christmas Specials, which can often be important.
Okay, apparently he uses this.

Paul McGann was always the 8th Doctor to me, he's sterling in the audio adventures he does.
They need to do a like a three doctors episode with Matt Smith, David Tennett and Paul McGann
I don't get when Rivers goes "There's a far worse day for me". Surely saying you're Amy and Rory's kid isn't that bad?
Yeah that seems odd to me aswell.

Probably the language it was written in seeing as there would be no need for the tardis to translate it.
Also just saw this deleted in bruges scene with matt smith in it.

The half-human thing is generally written off as him trying to fool the Master or being delirious. In other Who fiction it's often referred to as the former. I have a graphic novel that involves the 8th Doctor (DW: The Forgotten) being incarcerated in a prison partway through the Time War. Having made friends with the other inmate, he says "I once convinced my most hated enemy that I was half-human with nothing more than a wide-eyed expression, a couple of words, and a half-broken chameleon-arch".

Dunno, but it is more likely to be real than a photoshop. I have lampshades like that and they tend to rip/fade like in the picture. The shape, however, is unusual, so it still could be a photoshop.

Didn't they say Gallifreyan doesn't translate? So he couldn't possibly see it in any other language.
You know, I've been thinking. Not sure if this has been brought up, but since River Song is actually Amy and Rory's daughter (I had to clean up brain matter from my walls after hearing that, since it absolutely blew my mind), then why does she look nothing like them or anything like the original baby?
I remember them all wondering how she has Time Lord DNA, and one of the explanations was Amy's extensive time traveling while pregnant. They then wonder if she is able to regenerate, but they claimed to not know.
Well, maybe she has regenerated at some point, if not multiple times, and took on the form of who we know now as River Song.

But then this would mean River Song is Time Lord...

I thought this was pretty much a given that she regenerated, given we see who we assume to be her doing it at the end of the second episode as a kid...

Does anyone else find it weird at 1:07 when he walks through a rectangular shape with TARDIS blue coloured board on top, with the same font saying POLICE :v:
Didn't they say Gallifreyan doesn't translate? So he couldn't possibly see it in any other language.
No, he means that usually when the TARDIS crew read something alien, they see it in English. Given that the Doctor is Gallifreyan, would the alien language appear to him in Gallifreyan, given that it's his native language, or would it remain in the language it's written because he professes to know all languages.

Yep, seeing how different each doctor has been it seems like it.

Again, it would probably remain the alien language instead of translating it, seeing as the tardis more than likely knows the doctor doesn't need it to be translated.
