Next companion should be a lesbian. Never had a lesbian.
Amy had a hint of it in the comic relief special - flirting with her double.
Still not a lesbian. People are calling for a gay companion. But we had Jack! Nope, need a lesbian.

[editline]27th July 2011[/editline] ...and then The Doctor will be a woman... ...oh god, what have i done :tinfoil:
Reminds me of that Rowan Atkinson Doctor Who special. Also, a lesbian companion shouldn't just be lesbian for the sake of it; they should have a well-structured personality and lore. Those things are important, and draw a fine line between a well-defined character and a shallow shell. For example, some of the Dragon Age characters were rather fleshed-out, with Alistair being a royal bastard ex-Templar with a tendancy to joke around (Bad things happen when I lead; we get lost, people die, and I end up in a ditch with no pants on), Morrigan being a down-to-earth antisocial misanthropic Witch of the Wilds, etcetera etcetera. On the other hand, Rochelle from Left 4 Dead 2 came across as rather bland, despite being some sort of field reporter for the news, though there was little if nothing to remark about her. Where did this go, you ask? Well, all i'm really saying is that a lesbian Doctor Who character shouldn't be lesbian for the sake of it, and instead be very fleshed-out and unique, and not just some bland stereotype.
People were complaining about Karen being "too sexy", I think those same people would probably be a bit more cheesed off if there was a lesbian character. Cue hundreds of complaints from dim-witted stay-at-home mothers complaining about how they have to explain to their darling children how some girls like girls and some boys like boys, and then DW fans pointing out that Jack's been there since the first series, and it was never a real problem, and then it'll die out because the former group will realise how stupid they are. Or, at least, someone in the media will realise how stupid the former group is and will stop reporting on it. But yeah, I'd be up for a lesbian companion. Too many gay blokes in DW / Torchwood, and there's been what, four lesbian characters in both series combined?
Amy had a hint of it in the comic relief special - flirting with her double.
That's just because people's brains are wired up to think of themselves as being hot. Well, people who like themselves anyway. People who suffer from, say, depression, probably wouldn't be attracted to themselves. Can't really prove it one way or the other though :v: [editline]27th July 2011[/editline]
For example, some of the Dragon Age characters...
Have you by any chance been playing Dragon Age quite a lot recently? :v:
ace was lesbian wasn't she?
Wasn't the actress who Played Gwen in Dragon Age?
Wasn't the actress who Played Gwen in Dragon Age?
Wikipedia says yes.
Have you by any chance been playing Dragon Age quite a lot recently? :v:
Most definitely, enjoyed it quite a bit. And as for Eve Myles in Dragon Age, apparently she plays a Dalish Elf called Merrill in Dragon Age 2, who ends up joining your party.
is anyone here a classic doctors fan, just watching the first disk of the seeds of death (second doctor story, 1969) it's actually really good, the ice warriors have awesome costumes

"Rose is pregnant" [editline]28th July 2011[/editline] "Amy was revealed to be pregnant" "She's been pregnant for ages"

(yes I know that doesn't exist)
It would be interesting to see the Doctor regenerate as a woman, I think. Never happened before.
It would be interesting to see the Doctor regenerate as a woman, I think. Never happened before.
It would be, certainly. But it's a bit like making James Bond into Jane Bond, it's just not going to happen.
Against cybermen, could you not just use some sort of acid against them? They're steel, right?

Amelia and Young Rory in Let's Kill Hitler? I predict timey-wimey stream-crossing wibblies. Either that or the Nazis perform a watered-down version of a Babality. Or maybe just flashbacks.
Reminder: IMDB is editable by anyone that registers, so it might just be bullshit.

[sp]Young Rory leaked ages ago with pictures and dialogue along with the identity of River Song[/sp]

Craig is coming back. Am I the only one happy about this?
I too was happy about it 6 months ago
