Misleading titles aside, I feel I've got a lot more explained to me.
This episode in a nutshell "What the fuck just happened"
Wasn't enough Hitler.
That was a damn good episode.
"The Question", already know what it is. [sp]"Will you marry me?" between doctor and River, based on last episode name.[/sp]
I'm happy they actually explained her looking younger when she died, in a fun way :v: and the effects have gotten so much better again, I mean his face morphing with those cubes looked fantastic! Story was a bit all over the place but at least it's fast paced and fun.
How can you guys like that, it was terrible.
It wasn't misleading at all :v:. Good episode though
Can someone tell me what the Classical music that plays during the Hall part was?
i want a sonic cane
Fucking awesome episode. One of my favourites. Gay gypsy bar mitzvah for disabled people had me in stitches
I also loved the scene that similar to 'The Curse of Fatal Death', with constantly predicting each other
Can someone tell me what the Classical music that plays during the Hall part was?
Canon in D? I think
Eh, not bad. I still think the Chrissy Eccleston ones were the best.
i like how the regeneration limit of the doctor is now fixed/reset
Eh, not bad. I still think the Chrissy Eccleston ones were the best.
I miss Eccleston, he was the best doctor by far
I want the Doctors jacket from the beginning of the episode back.
I miss Eccleston, he was the best doctor by far
Wow, first time someone other than me has thought that!
Stream was awesome.
Wow, first time someone other than me has thought that!
I loved his more serious take on doctor who, I mean Tennent was good and I did like him, but Eccleston took the doctor in a much more interesting direction.
So River Song (Alex Kingston) was the fourth and final regeneration of Melody Pond.
Here's the opinions according to Twitter: River Song is awesome. The episode was REALLY REALLY awesome. The sheer amount of people going on about shagging Matt Smith in the trending topics is.. unexpected No really. It seems every tweet that isn't "Matt Smith is now amazing" is either "I'd bang him" or "He is acting well good, I wanna shag him" [editline]27th August 2011[/editline] Other than the Smith Shagging, I agree with them all [editline]27th August 2011[/editline] I don't want to shag Matt Smith, that would make my life Torchwood.
My oh my, that was quite a shock to the system. I thought Mel was gonna be a new companion and then BAM CRASH WALLOP Hello Benjamin. I was NOT expecting Mel to be River, not in the slightest, must've completely overlooked the name connection. The way she unleashed that Regen Energy Wave was pretty BLAM, but by the end I had a strong feeling that she'd end up using the remainder of her Residual Cellular Energy to heal the Doctor, although I couldn't imagine Judas poison was so intense that it required 11 Regens worth of energy to purge from the body and repair the damage. Maybe all those Regens have been added to the Doctor's "quota"? Also I hope they took that Tessalector with them; if not as a handy MacGuffin then at least to prevent the Nazis grabbing it.
Lots of people here say not enough Hitler. It was said from the start he had a cameo and it was purely comedic.
Good thing I turned on the tv mid-Total Wipeout or I would never have known Doctor Who was back on.
I love how it's River that brings Amy and Rory together as a couple, very clever. Timey-wimey at it's best!
Lots of people here say not enough Hitler. It was said from the start he had a cameo and it was purely comedic.
And the only reason it was named "Let's Kill Hitler" is because when Mels forced them into the TARDIS, she said "I don't know - let's kill Hitler".
Lots of people here say not enough Hitler. Then when Doctor Who starts to focus on River and the aftermath, people are now complaining about there not being enough Hitler.
This episode is like a cake. You ask for chocolate cake. But you get a cake that only has chocolate icing. You think you won't like it now but you actually like it MORE. You ask for a Hitler episode. He gets pushed in a cupboard and you get a River story. You think you won't like it but you actually like it MORE.
I'm actually glad it was very Hitler-light. I was expecting a fairly boring episode with maybe a short River part, that doesn't explain much. Instead, the episode was awesome!
