Ok so, the 12 regenerations per timelord (Doctor was on his last regeneration (eleventh doctor but 12th regeneration (Tennant regen'd but stayed Tennant thanks to hand)) thing was confirmed and then upped by another 10 (River had 10 regenerations left). So in another 10 doctors it will have to be fixed again. :v:
I'm pretty sure it's 13 regenerations.
Can someone tell me what the Classical music that plays during the Hall part was?
Pachelbel's Canon. Cba to see if this has already replied to, I'm still cycling through the posts here.
No need to be hostile guys; he's allowed his opinion. Even if we do all disagree with it.
The Doctor promised "cross my heart" that he would marry Mels if she got better. I'm looking forward to seeing the wedding. I hope they have it somewhere fabulous and River wears a beautiful gown.
You notice when The Doctor, Amy, and Rory are all leaning against the desk right after the regeneration, and River gets up on The Doctor, The Doctor covers his private area with his hands? He totally got a boner.
Timelord fetish = Regeneration
I think it was more to do with the fact that a sexy lady had just mounted him.
Here we go. After watching Doctor who, the inhabitants of this board get down to the most important part of discussion. Doctor Sex.
Also Dain, I love you for actually SAVING the recording. So I can download the episode. :v:

[editline]27th August 2011[/editline] Also, Hitler wasn't behind the war after all, he spent the whole time in a cupboard! Now to just find that cupboard, and Hitler's skeleton with a broken jaw ;) [editline]27th August 2011[/editline] Awesome episode btw.
I'm not sure if i prefer the current series soundtrack, or the previous ones. E.g ones like this are awesome and had a sense of epicness. Can't really remember much from the current series other than the Doctors Theme.
I'm now very puzzled as to who's in the spacesuit in The Impossible Astronaut. Can someone give me an idea who it might be?
I'm now very puzzled as to who's in the spacesuit in The Impossible Astronaut. Can someone give me an idea who it might be?
Do we have to spoiler tag ideas/theories?
I'm now very puzzled as to who's in the spacesuit in The Impossible Astronaut. Can someone give me an idea who it might be?
It's got to be a human. The suit's made for a human to wear. I think it's Rory. The suit is basically a life-support system, and Rory does die a lot. One of the cast members said that all of Rory's deaths are leading up to something, I think he has to don the suit because he's dying, and the Doctor makes him kill him to keep the fixed point groovy. Or some other shenanigans could happen to do with River, which they probably will.
Do we have to spoiler tag ideas/theories?
Nope.
I'm most probably going to get a lot of disagrees, but I think it's the 'Flesh Doctor'. I can't remember what was actually said, but it was hinted that the Flesh Doctor can recover from being killed by the sonic. The whole theme of those two episodes was that the flesh ends up becoming a completely real and independent person, and that they should be treated the same. When the Doctor first says 'Don't worry, I know it's you', I think he's expecting it to be River, but when the visor opens, he seems to actually smile when he says 'Well then' and sounds surprised because he expected River, and not whoever is in there. If the 'real' Doctor did die, the flesh one could take over since he has all the memories and experiences and he may even be able to regenerate (can't remember if this was covered). But this whole scene seems to have been refilmed so maybe not.
Do we have to spoiler tag ideas/theories?
No, not unless you feel more comfortable that way. If it's speculation, it's not really a spoiler. In my opinion you need only spoiler tag definite leaks or parts of the show seen ahead of airdate, for example at a press preview.
I called it. I said that the doctor was going to take River's regenerations. That's how he's now able to go past 13.
I thought this was very good
Do we have to spoiler tag ideas/theories?
Well, it's not really a spoiler. I'd say tag anything you use to support your theory that is a spoiler.
I thought this was very good
It was well worth the wait, it wrapped up most of River Song's story, and still left open how the doctor was going to die.

He seems surprised at who is under the hood, then if you study his body language afterwards it looks as though he's been informed of something terrible. He bows his head and just takes the shot. That's not the Doctor we know, he'd go out with a song and dance.
Thanks Echidna666 that's really interesting. I'd been wondering if the flesh could come into it in any way. It seemed wrong that there should be River in the suit, River holding Amy back on the beach and possibly River inside Amy as a Foetus as well? But then River is in prison for killing someone - on the other hand I can't see how the Impossible Astronaut fits into her timeline, she regenerated from being a little girl long before...
I'm hoping it isn't the flesh clone, I think that would be a complete cop-out :|
I'm hoping it isn't the flesh clone, I think that would be a complete cop-out :|
It's RTD, he got jealous at how good the series got without him, he's come to end it!
