I'm up in Fredericksburg for a few more days. When I get back, I'll def be bombing a few hills. [sp]And hitting a few bowls too[/sp]
i can spot you a few bones to smoke me up?
I want this board so fucking much, but its $246, and I'm lazy.
I just ordered a LBL Humu. It's so sick.
i wanna get into this, looks pretty damn cool. though i've never been on a board before..should i start on a regular skateboard or would straight to a longboard work?
skate board always
ah alright, thanks. how long do you think it would take until i could use a longboard?
ah alright, thanks. how long do you think it would take until i could use a longboard?
Start straight on a longboard. Its easier to ride. Its smoother too and you aren't pressured into tricks immediately. Longboards can cruise. skateboards just sort of roll. you can learn in a day if you try. Some people can naturally balance on a board well, others cant. it depends.

I saw a nice longboard here in Spain for 90 euros. Pretty Gurd if you ask me.
Imo, I dislike longboards. They look extremely gay..
Imo, I dislike longboards. They look extremely gay..
I dare say this is the stupidest thing I've ever seen on Facepunch.
This shit looks awesome. I skate a lot, but I've never tried one of these. I might buy one. Reminds me of when I used to try and go fast on my normal skateboard, but my trucks were too loose and, well, it goes on from there. It was scary as hell by the way, I was going extremely fast (at least 30 mph), and I just started getting major speed wobbles until my board just powerslided and ripped out from underneath me. I fell flat on the ground and slid for ages. Hurt like hell but the adrenaline was so good.
I don't even remember this.
Imo, I dislike longboards. They look extremely gay..
You are calling longboards "extremely gay" with an anime avatar. Okay...
here in phoenix only people that have long boards are hipster and preppy dumb asses, while most of the boarders are usually skate boarders
it's too fucking hot to longboard so now i'm a poolboarding faggot the bowl at hudson is the best fosho
I did that a few times, but by far the worst way is when the board lands on its side, you land on it, then it suddenly flips over onto its bottom / top and you fly down at the ground at 100mph My ass bone hurt for more than a week.
It's been a week, ass bone still hurts, I guess my injury wasn't as meager as you originally thought!
I personally prefer skateboarding, longboards aren't worth the harsh pricetag for the little things you can do. And the sense of freedom I think can be found elsewhere for a lot cheaper. Still fun to ride on my friends though (He has the exact same one as bottom picture)
Can you guys recommend me a board that would be good for cruising and occasionally bombing a few hills? I was going to just get a pintail then realised they aren't really built for high speeds.
I've always wanted to longboard but I'm poor and tend to fall a lot.

I really can't wait till I get my first board.
Everyone around my school uses Pennies, and I wanna see if they're any good.
I don't know of any decent shops near me that sell these (in Scotland) so how do I know which to choose? I really want one after watching some awesome videos on Vimeo. How's this? http://www.longboardsuk.com/complete-decks/lush-kuni-summer-longboard.html It's pretty cheap and I can go higher if I need to.
