Teach me your ways :zoid:
Now to find a way to do that...
This is with it being held on with one bolt and using rubber spacers to soften the impacts:

You should try one of those GoPros for stuff like this

Hot damn thats a steal. What site you do this through?
okay guys I think I\'m set. How long do you think KS would take to have a scimitar delivered to erie pennsylvania? I am going sailing for a week (starting on the 19th) and some of the canadian ports that we are hittin have nice roads/hills for boarding ;) plus it\'s easier to move with a board :)
thanks

It probably will be there before than. Shoot him a email or leave a comment saying you'd like it to be there before than. If you gotta pay a little extra it may be worth it to take it on the trip.

Also it might be wise if this is your first board to invest in making or buying some slide gloves. They have saved me so many times in a crash. Also wear your fucking helmet. So many longboarders have died just by not buckling up a brain bucket. If your going over 15mph than just strap that thing on, one fall could do you in. I've taken so many bails trying to predrift turns at 30mph and I wouldn't be here if I hadn't had my triple8 on.
Okay, so it looks like I have to forgo the Carbon Fiber variant of the Robot. Instead, I'm getting the standard 9-ply 41" variant, which is by no means a bad thing. Going to sell my Heist V1 to a friend for about $70.
Longboarding's great.
I ride this

Facepunch ~making ebonics sound dorky since 2008~
^agreed
but that\'s great takkun, I\'ll make sure to let him know about that.
I\'m probably going to end up learning how to slide, so I\'ll end up making my own gloves ;)
also, what helmet do you use? I\'m guessing it\'s by tripple 8 :)
I\'m going to need to google some cheap hard-hat helmets (or go to my local dick\'s/zumies) :D

sooooo sexy
I have been longboarding for 3months and it's great, the wind in your hair, the insects in your face, no but seriously, riding down a mountain at 50 kilometers per hour is truly awesome!

Once you break 70 kph it feels like nothing else in the world. It gets addicting.
Just got a roastie on my knee and grazed my chin because I don't know how to break properly.
That probably wasn't too smart :v:
Holy shit I want a Clutch (doubletap? or lambchop?) so much, anyone know if Russ ships to England?
performed my first coleman slide, scary as fuck, was actually possible on otang wheels
I'm really new to buying my own longboard and did buy a sector nine carbon decay 37incher drop through, I think it's beautiful, and it came with ABEC 75mm reflex wheels, it's got bones reds bearings now (changed them) stock bearing spacers, gullwing stalker trucks, and stock bushings (I really want to change this)
(this is exactly what it is)

It was pretty pricey for a longboard but I was given a $100 discount in store from it
I just want your guys opinions on if this was a shit buy or a good starter, and where I should maybe go in the future or what kind of wheels/bushings you recommend.

Pm him in the sodashop thread. I don't see why he wouldn't. It may get pricey.

I can't comment on the board but it looks beautiful man. You may wanna get some different trucks in the future since gullwings are crap. Other than that shred the shit out of it. Also colemans get easier as you go, its the most reliable slide you will have in your arsenal. Coleman shutdown slides will save your life.
Shit man, thanks. I'm loving it so much, recommend any trucks for just normal cruising with good carving and can downhill and possibly pump?
Shit man, thanks. I'm loving it so much, recommend any trucks for just normal cruising with good carving and can downhill and possibly pump?
Most trucks with the right bushing setup will do that fine, I'd try either Paris' or Randals with venom bushings.

Randall, Paris, and Caliber are all nice. I have 44 calibers on my downhill board and I love these trucks so much.
My downhill setup:
Maxxspeed custom topmount
44 caliber 10" hanger venom barrels 90a boardside, 87a roadside.
Soon to put some lime bigzigs on them, for now all i have are these crappy sector9 wheels.
The image is big and img_thumb isn't exactly working so ~ http://filesmelt.com/dl/IMG_14371.JPG and i didn't put those stickers on it, I got it used for like $65 and it rides like a dream.
Buying first board soon, seriously can't wait to get into this.
Buying first board soon, seriously can't wait to get into this.
it's so worth it man, I can't believe how much enjoyment I can get out of it
According to my cousin, longboarding is really popular among collage kids. Is that true?
According to my cousin, longboarding is really popular among collage kids. Is that true?
easier to carry than a bike, quicker than walking, and it gives off a "Yeah I'd be surfing if my college was near the beach" vibe
Buying first board soon, seriously can't wait to get into this.
What are you going to get?
According to my cousin, longboarding is really popular among collage kids. Is that true?
I've heard it varies from college to college. I would have to say yes though.
What are you going to get?
At the moment I'm not sure. I'm selling a whole load of stuff that should get me around £100 to spend on a Longboard, but yeah, it all depends on how much I get for everything.
According to my cousin, longboarding is really popular among collage kids. Is that true?
It appeals to that sort of age group.
Just bought paris trucks from the Kahalani store in central stockholm, the guy was so damn nice, I love him. He gave me free drop through risers, free bushings, free speed spacers, free stickers, and a free shirt. Jesus. I love longboarding so much.
