Get core baseplates from milehighskates. They allow you to run venom bushings.
i looked them up. i'm not too keen on truck parts, but am i able to replace the baseplate right out of the box or do i need other things?
[editline]2nd January 2012[/editline]
i'm also doing reading on silverfish and they're saying that the new kingpin doesn't create a perfect thread, and recommend epoxying anyways, which in that case i might as well just epoxy a new king pin on stock indy's.
here's the thread:

Better than porn
ordered two sets of venom standard(barrel and cone) 85a bushings, as well as 2 kingpins. decided i'm just going to hammer out the kingpin and JB Weld in the other one.

Kind of wished that I fiberglassed the bottom of my board when I made it. The finish basically came off and got a couple of good chips on the nose and the side :/

skip to the 6:00 mark, the Original guys ride down the third tallest paved road. the whole series is stellar.
If anyone can recommend me a dancer with kicktails (not Bhangra) please do, as I'm stuck on weather I want a dancer or a DK next. Even better if it's from a small indie builder, I'd love to help a small business.
EDIT: NVM, found out that the Drang Dancer 58 was pretty much exactly what I wanted.

Long Board Larry Larrys?
But I've looked at the OSD, bamboo and regular, but I would really really prefer kicktails, which the Drang has.

Haha yeah Larry Larry erryday. And I feel you on the kicks thing, drang makes dope stuff. Go for it.
Does anybody know of a good small longboard that can fit in a school locker? I want to get one for spring. I was looking at some penny boards, But they are a bit expensive. Btw the lockers I'm talking about are the tall thin ones.

Any of you watch greener pastures? its an amazing series in Switzerland done by a bunch of big name longboard companies

also any of you heard of Nelson Longboards?
I have watched greener pastures and I have heard of nelson longboards, I actually met rich at a dc slide jam. Nice guy.
Do you guys mix bushings? ex. cone and barrel?
I am trying to find the right combination for carve and stability.
So, is it normal all people at my school using these are douchebags?
Is it included when buying one of these or what?

It's like, 90% advertisement, 5% artistic videography and 5% actual skating.

At least we get to see some awesome skating, never forget its those ads that pay for this stuff. I'm all for it because when companies like red bull start pushing the sport you know its getting big and these athletes can make a living off skating.
I got this beauty right here.

Been longboarding for about three years now, thinking of getting a new board 'til summer.
The fastest I've been going is about 43mph.
The more I ride pinners the more I notice how they conflict with my style. They look great, that one especially, but the nose and tail shape just ruins any rideability for me.

Haha, look familiar Takkun ?
Awwwww yeah. That pred and swallow tail! What trucks you running? I just purchased those cindrichs for my darkshark yesterday now I'm just waiting in the mail.
I think I made a new trick today, I call it the '360 Holocaust Laser Beam Flip Footplant Grab'.
Step 1: Pop board
Step 2: Grab it heelside and give it a 180
Step 3: Switch hands and give it another 180
Step 4: Drop it like it's hot and ride off smooth
Anyone know what it's actually called?
