Those are all good things right?
not if you're a happily effeminate gay dude
Wasn't sure about the lead weight part.
My bearings seemed to have seized, they won't spin at all. Any tips?
Get some of these http://milehighskates.com/wheel-first-aid-kit.html Pretty much the best inexpensive bearing on the market. Plus when you buy from milehigh you get free bearings, so I always get wheels through them, you gotta catch them when they get your favorite brand in stock (Abec 11) because the popular stuff goes super fast.
Wasn't sure about the lead weight part.
If you really like tech tricks it may make things a bit slow, but it generally doesn't matter too much.
But you'll haul ass downhill on that tank. Weight isn't always bad.
That too. And Rayne boards are tough as nails.
That too. And Rayne boards are tough as nails.
I think its because they use that carbon stringer crap is most of their decks. Plus Canadian maple is the shit. Although I like my baltic burch night deck, although the carbon fiber makes it stiff as all get out. Maple can be super stiff and when flexy has a nice snap to it, while Baltic is a little saggy.

Well, it can be, but we do not talk of such things.
Decided that because I don't want to have to wait a year for Drang to finish my dancer, I'm going to buy XVD's Loaded Dancer clone, the Dancr. Anyone heard about it? I don't hear much about XVD besides advertisements on the 'fish and that one review that isn't helpful at all.

Cough Maxxspeed Cough, Cough Soda factory Cough.
Anyone got a solution to fix bushing squeaking? I rode through the rain once and ever since then I've been squeaking on my board with every movement.

[editline]13th January 2012[/editline] Finally made a short video. New trucks that I'm getting used to, so little toeside and no long standies. Just some fun on a local hill. [editline]13th January 2012[/editline] bushing setup is the same the whole video. 50 degree plate in the front with a yellow venom cone and yellow barrel. 45 degree plate in the back with double yellow barrels. All flat washers. Surprisingly really stable, I tried to mimic the looseness of my calibers.

That set up looks crazy, looks like you got a lot of leverage. are those the Cindrinchs ?
Wow that worked out perfectly. I'm back to being stealthy! thanks.
haven't heard anything about them. Cough Maxxspeed Cough, Cough Soda factory Cough.
I'm aware of both, and Soda Factory I'm not even sure how to order from, or what their boards are, and Maxxspeed doesn't have a dancer. My second choice would be the Legendary Platypus, but I decided against it because it seems pretty thin for it's length.

I know its a weird process but so many people buy from him its legit. Could've swore max has a dancer, its not like he couldn't custom you one for a decent price.

How the fuck do you get back?
Well, decided to contact Scratch on the 'fish about building me a dancer, I even mentioned you Takkun.
replaced my 2.25" kingpin with a 2.5" to allow more room for tightening. loving the feel of my ride right now
Takkun I would like your opinion on this board. http://www.the-house.com/sklelchb1011zz-element-skateboards.html?utm_source=shopzilla&utm_medium=ppc&utm_campaign=shopcomparefeed

Way over priced, and I don't trust element with longboards. If you want a solid deck you gotta get something from the community. What are you looking for in a deck? Earthwing cruiser is a sweet double kick deck and same with the high tailer. Thats the vibe I'm getting from this deck, also don't buy from the house. Always go to like switchback, motionboardshop, longboardskater, milehighskater, and muirskate. Just a few shops I dig. High tailer ~ 44" Double kick speed board, basically a steezy setup. Earthwing Crewzer ~ Super steezy deck that I really want, double kicks, good stiffness, not a bad price, grindable, basically a long street deck. Plus its earthwing which is max street cred. God I need to get paid. Cheat to win! [editline]13th January 2012[/editline]
After seeing the video i wonder about one thing and one thing only... How the fuck do you get back?
Get back to what? I'm guessing you mean from switch back to regular? Well I know how to 180 switch and its not that bad on these angles. I can barely tell the difference when riding backwards, I mean its a bit tighter which is a given but its managable.
Well I already got it as a Christmas present, The only problem I really have with it personally is the massive wheel bite. No matter of tightening or loosening stops it at sharp turns. Might buy new trucks or higher riser pads. I had a Sector9 Uluwatu, and I'm missing the great sharp turns I could pull with those Alpine trucks

How are you liking it? I've never once rode a element deck so I have no comment on quality I just personally wouldn't go with them since they are already a huge name in skateboarding. I like to support community companies. Get some risers and if you want a really nice feel to your deck I'd suggest surf-rodz indeesz. Now I know they're $100 but from the time I've tried them and what other people say. If you get your bushing setup just right, its a super fun ride and all around great. But risers, get risers. Also don't know what wheels you got but I'd throw some 66mm abec 11 freerides on it in 81a. You should run a bit smaller wheels because 70mm is wheelbite city without wheel wells and risers.
It's pretty smooth, nice and flexible. Really easy to pull manuals and alright for sliding, as soon as the wheel bite is out of the question I won't have a problem with it. [editline]14th January 2012[/editline] Totally not my first choice though.

Looks like it'd make a fun dancer since its flexy.
ive been trying to start now and i need a few tips on balance, and braking/slowing down. I weigh around 300 pounds and i have this longboard w/ 70mm 75A wheels, bones reds Swiss bearings, and a dropped trucks or what ever its called

First thing, get harder wheels Jesus Christ you must go like, 2 mph on 75a's. Go for 83s-86s, I don't know I've never even heard of a skater that heavy. To get more balanced you SKATE MORE. That will solve all of your problems, watching Youtube videos or asking people won't help at all. To brake you drag your foot on the ground or do a slide, and to slow down you pretty much do the same thing.
What? I have wheels that are 78a's And they go a decent speed You're retarded.
How heavy are you?
