Not 300, but even if I was i wouldn't go that slow.
Then you're retarded because your weight, the wheel duro and wheel size have pretty much everything to do with speed.
1 factor.
Did you ever see the banner of you in the OIFY btw?
Yep yep.
I like how people, when they have their back against the wall, tend to bring up unrelated shit to try to humiliate people.
I was only wondering.
Wait, you find a picture of yourself humiliating?
No, you just came across as that way. It's not a particularly flattering picture by any means, but I don't mind it being used as an OIFY banner, it's kinda funny and kinda encourages me to keep losing weight.
For the record, wheel duro means absoultely nothing in terms of speed. Its all about the rebound of the wheel, hence why a 80a lime bigzig feels faster than a 84a classic thane bigzig. Formula means everything in a wheel so never judge a wheel by its duro because 78a venom cannibals are supposedly a lot faster than 80a counterpart from what I've heard, also the pavement means a lot to because if your riding shit pavement 78a might be the best choice for gripping corners and the forgiving the pavement while 80a would be dope for a long straight away. Haha most the time you just have to research your wheel a bit.

Made a dumb video from a few seconds of old footage.
I've got a Sector 9. I don't know much about longboards to be honest, and not that good at tricks or dances or whatever. I just use it to get from point A to point B faster than I would if I walked. So I pretty much go to classes with it every now and then.
It's a fine board, though.

Looks like a fun ride. Get some bearing spacers if you want your bearings to unlock their true potential.

It is. Just a shame my usual route to class kinda sucks. Lots of walking up slops, and rolling down slopes, so a lot of getting on and off the board.
Also, just looked up bearing spacers. Considering it, but I'm not so sure I wanna mess with it. Maybe I will some time!

Well basically what bearing spacers do is that your bearings will not naturally line up in your wheels core so these give it a tighter tolerence so that if you slide or do anything really, there is no play in your wheel. This makes bearings last longer and spin as free as they can get while being tight. I suggest them to everyone, why would you not buy a pair when they're $5.

I don't like messing with shit I don't know about. I know it isn't exactly rocket science or anything but still!
Don't they have different sizes and such? How would I know what size bearing spacers to get?

No worries, I didn't know jack shit about bearing spacers for awhile than I asked some guy I knew and he educated me. Those are what you need. All you gotta do is pop one bearing out and place it in between and tighten it back up.
Man i love this Arbor Koa!
I'm glad i chose this board.
Can someone tell me a good place to buy a longboard? I want to get a longboard not to dance or do any of that stuff on, but just a cruiser longboard from going places really fast. I have 165 dollars to spend

Most completes are around $200 any way you can save up another $35?
[editline]16th January 2012[/editline]
yeah save up another $35 because you can get a really rad setup for $200 and have a lot of choices.
I got 200 dollars for my birthday. I'm not sure which board I'm getting, but I'm ordering the other parts from switchback longboards. For wheels it's either : http://www.switchbacklongboards.com/store/longboard-wheels/abec-11/abec-11-big-zigs-75mm-classic-formula.html or http://www.switchbacklongboards.com/store/longboard-wheels/abec-11/abec-11-zigzags-70mm-classic-formula.html. Not sure about trucks though, in fact not sure about anything else really. I'm only getting those wheels because of your suggestion, tell me whatever else.

Assuming I had 200 dollars, what could I buy?
[editline]16th January 2012[/editline]
Also whats wrong with the two that you listed and what would be so much better with a 200 dollar board

Caliber trucks, and the wheels depend entirely on what board you get and how big you can run wheels. Personally I'd get the bigzigs because more thane = more slides and more thane = higher top speed. Awesome choice in wheel though, gotta love classic thane.

You have a lot more choices with $200 because most completes are around that price. Like this awesome deck
http://longboardskater.com/mm5/merchant.mvc?Screen=PROD&Store_Code=LS&Product_Code=EWLRKC&Category_Code=E9
and this one
http://longboardskater.com/mm5/merchant.mvc?Screen=PROD&Store_Code=LS&Product_Code=EWSMDPC&Category_Code=E9
I'm just saying if you just go mow some lawns or something you can easily get a board that you will love because with that budget your limited, not saying those boards are bad because they are freaking rad. Its just that I want you to love the ride you buy, and with a little more cash we can build a deck that you can grow into as a rider and learn all sorts of slides and bomb all sorts of hills with ease.
the area i live in is COMPLETELY flat, so there will be no hill bombing :v:

Quantity in Basket: None
Price: $196.80
Sold Out
[editline]17th January 2012[/editline]
but I don't know anything about longboards
so i should give some more background
I *technically* have 200 dollars to spend, and I live in an extremely flat area. there is literally almost no deviation in height of land here, no hills at all anywhere. I guess they call it the great planes for a reason :v: I want a board that can get me places faster (and maybe even easier, if the word "cruiser" is to be believed) than on foot. But really I don't want it for practicality, I truly want it for fun. Whatever can get me going very fast without the use of inclines is good for me.

Alright that gives a good idea of what is good for you. Which is a board that is low, has kicks, freestyle type deck. Most people want to learn some sort of tricks eventually so thats why a decent freestyle deck would be good for you. Since its flat that means something low would be nice. That jet doppler is a good choice but I'll look around some more for you.
Look into a dancer, their typically a bit more expensive, but seeing that you life in mostly flatland you will eventually want one.

Somit like this.
Do you live in a urban area?

This is true also.

If he lives in a urban area than the crewzer would be rad as hell because its like a street deck but its a longboard. Its a jack of all trades no doubt.
I literally have no Idea what board I'm looking for.
Location: Bay Shore, New York
Location Terrain: flat, good pavement, some small hills
Riding Preference: Some Speed, easy to push, lightweight, small.
Riding Style: carving (sorta), cruising through town (mainly)
Rider Height: 62" (5 foot 2 inches)
Rider Weight: 102 pounds
