No sex before marriage has always seemed to me to be, most logically, an outdated form of birth control.
Since they didn't have condoms, Plan B, birth control, etc back when the bible was written the only way to not get pregnant was to not have sex. The only reason this was a big deal was because back then everything was caste based or guild based. The Warrior Caste, the Merchant Guild, etc. etc. If a child was born a bastard he or she would never amount to anything. They'd never be allowed into a caste or guild, never get a job.
Easiest way to make people stop fucking before they were married was to say god didn't want you to do it. :v:

I'm not invading anything. I just told her what I thought and she's thinking about it herself and forming her own opinions, most of which are matching mine. I'm not a sex fiend, I don't really care about it all that much, I just don't want to wait 6 years while being with her the entire time to do it. Because it would be 6 years, or more.
