I'm quite happy I've stayed passive through this discussion. I personally don't like anime/brony avatars, but I don't make an effort to actively remove them because it will just blow up into one huge shitstorm and none of those avatars are directly offensive. As for NSFW avatars, I can understand why they got banned due to the reasons described in this thread. However, I must say that did have problems realizing that people couldn't browse Facepunch at work due to my previous avatar, though. The reason of this is because none of the comments I got about it on my profile actually mentioned that it made browsing Facepunch at work uncomfortable and appeared to mostly just be personal opinions about it, which I thought was very similar to the response most bronie avatars get and therefore ignored them. This is the reason why I did not remove the avatar before this thread reached page 4 and I already got a PM from a moderator. So bottom line is that I respect the decision that was made, but next time you have a problem with something someone does, describe the situation instead of just yelling at the user and expect him to know how you feel. I can honestly say I learned more from the OP of this thread than I did from any of the comments people left on my profile.

The anime ones need to go for sure but also the ones that are pretty much borderline nude. Just because there is a single dot covering the nipples and a small string covering their vagina does not mean its sfw either. Shouldn't just be targeting the anime/furry shit.

You never stated "anime porn", only 'anime ones' with no specific context, and also called out avatars that are borderline nude separately. There's no point in specifically calling out something as "anime porn" or "furry porn" because it's still "porn" and would need to be blocked regardless.
