I agree that lately some people really push the limit but i honestly don't have a problem with it. I don't really care about the avatars and if there is an actual problematic issue with that i can easily fix it with adblock. I might be late to the party here, but I've been trying to maintain this AdBlock+ list of NSFW avatars. I try to keep it updated as best as I can. Maybe this'll help some people, as I personally browse FP at work and some avatars aren't suitable. I like the Hot Girls thread but you have to admit it is kinda weird that it is here. Like, there's gaming stuff and LMAO pics and news stuff, then there one thread which has pretty much turned into a hardcore porn thread. The pros of removing it much outweigh the pros of keeping it I think. Like it's been said before, you can find porn a lot of other places. Maybe there can be a tasteful Hot Girls thread where women are clothed and nudity is not allowed (don't argue for artistic nudity pls) to sort of provide a common ground, but it's not worth the legal hassle to appeal to the people who would be genuinely upset if it were gone. I think I can speak for most of us when I say that we don't need the Hot Girls thread here, or any sort of porn stuff.

Why not add some form of NSFW filtering system to the forum itself? When you upload your avatar you have the option to label it as NSFW. Anyone can choose to filter out avatars that are labeled NSFW, and if someone has a NSFW avatar and didn't label it, they get banned. Anything remotely suggestive is considered NSFW.
