Facepunch Avatar Rules Are Too Lenient (and it's being dealt with- page 4) - General

I like the idea of being able to report people for having nsfw avatars. Sure it can be abused, but I'm pretty sure the mods know who reported who and for what reason. If someone is abusing the report button for that reason, they can be dealt with accordingly.

This is great, i don't browse FP unless im at home, but the point of those avatars being annoying as fuck is people either forcing their fetishes on everyone else or just for attention or some shit. Glad to see the modding team being fucking amazing again.

My stance is that NSFW avatars are just unnecessary and do nothing but cause controversy. People who get angry over avatars with nothing remotely NSFW in them just need to suck it up and get over it, or just adblock. People judge people based on avatars alone too much anyway.

Most people don't. It's people caring TOO MUCH about what avatars people have and causing shit over it. It's people going onto someone's VM to flame them over some avatar they don't like. And it's people not realizing that not everyone is into their NSFW likes.
