I think I might buy a ticket with the chosen numbers from this thread.
It's only £1 and it's the same or better chance of winning normally :D
Edit, Work out the numbers before 9pm :/
I need time to get to the shop and get my ticket lol
Infact, I might just work them out myself
1 23 19 14 8 12
3 20 19 8 9 42
das mah birfday :v:
save for 42, that's just a number I pulled out of my ass.
Can you work out the average before 7:00pm on wednesday?
You aren't allowed to buy a ticket after then, and I want to be a millionaire y'see.
I'm slowly adding to my spreadsheet of guesses. I can update it during my college lessons too I guess, Portable Open Office kicks ass in that sense :v:
4 8 15 16 23 42
42 16 15 23 8 43
06 05 04 03 02 01
Guys me and Jonnerz are both keeping a spreadsheet, there is no need for more, Facepunch's guess will be announced at 6pm on wednesday, giving you just enough to time to run out and get a ticket if you REALLY want to.

Thanks man.
Anyone notice a pattern with the first numbers? Most of them are below 10.
Anyone notice a pattern with the first numbers? Most of them are below 10.
That is because people assume that the first number will be low, and thats not always the case.

Well they would be. It's how our brains work.
Same chance of there being 1 2 3 4 5 6 than 03 13 24 35 38 49. Our brain sees the random one as being more likely when infact it's exactly the same. Which makes this whole test illogical. But it will be cool to see the result.

I see through your witchcraft :smug:
06 15 21 32 37 43
30 37 13 26 21 11
If 10,000 people all pick seperate numbers, then there is a 1/1400 chance that one of those sets of numbers are picked. If they were lucky enough to win and kind enough to share the winnings, we would get £240 each. (From the current jackpot).
Yes, I have nothing better to do than work out stuff like this. It's interesting. (To me anyway)
01 45 28 23 19 35
2 6 17 19 20 34
I'll buy the ticket if you guys want. If I win, I'll give £500k to icemaz :)
Yes I'm jewish.
100 people in, I have the current average, but I don't know whether to tell you lot or not. At the moment they are very evenly spaced.
I am gonna turn in, i'll continue adding all the numbers later. Goodnight and see you tomorrow.
23 24 32 8 10 44
