Derren Brown just used a camera trick. He blended two camera shots to make it look like the balls stayed in the same spot when really, half the screen was projecting a false image. After the numbers were announced an assistance wrote the numbers on the balls and the two video feed were spliced. Blah blah blah it was a camera trick.

Derren Brown said that it only works if you choose the numbers without greed. So even if the 'deep maths' shite was real it won't work. Still interesting though.
