Where is Moon?
I loved the ending of Moon. It was all :gbsmith:

this movie was fucking amazing! never know something like this could be that good!
This would have been good for a post your.
There have been so many good films looking back at the past decade.
The City of God
Layer Cake
Gran Torino
This is England
Children of Men
These are just a few films I thought were brilliant, there was many more.
[editline]04:22PM[/editline]
Moon was brilliant as well
This thread is terrible. Just posting any list will spark rage within an angry-prone troll.
have you SEEN Slumdog Millionaire?
I saw it and thought it was pathetic with a stupid plot.
Especially his relationship with the girl. Fucking stupid.

5. The departed
6. The aviator

Haters gonna hate :snoop:

1.Twilight
2.Twilight New Moon
3.Spongebob the movie
Wouldn't call them top 10 (except for Gladiator and District 9) but I loooooooooove alllll those movies you listed.
Yeah i've forgotten alot, ten years is way too hard to make a list of :v:
*SHERLOCK HOLMES IMAGE*
this movie was fucking amazing! never know something like this could be that good!
Robert Downey Jr. made it good, just like Iron Man(not excellent, but probably it was what everyone expected), he's a good actor, I sure like his acting style. But I like your opinion, but I wouldn't put it in top 10.
Anyway, as for 2 sci-fi movies, I'd put district 9 and moon in the list, those movies we're badass and epic.
Avatar had great visuals, but the whole movie was "Cheesy" to me.
clearly, Top Gun was the greatest movie from the decade. Tom Cruise is best Cruise.
LotR and V for Vendetta all need to be on there.
V for Vendetta
Inglorious Basterds.
These movies are terrible, OP has the worst choice in movies and no one should listen to him.
WTF?
Did you go to the cinema only ten times in the last ten years or something?
actually only about 20 times :/
my parents don't like me going there, says that it's a waste of money and that I should save up for my college degree and a car because "there's no way in hell I'm even contributing to that"
:saddowns:
How the fuck did anyone like slumdog millionaire?
I thought it was OK, but it was very, very overrated.
Avatar - the way everything look is just enough.
District 9 - aliens, weapons, story whats not to like? maybe even the best?
Pineapple Express - The only movie that always makes me laugh great actors.
V for Vendetta - oh god the story and the mask is just perfect even tho the mask has now been used as some sort of meme (?)
That's my opinion :downs:
Also: NEW MOON! TWILLIGHT   /sarcasm
I rather enjoyed the Twilight films.
i agree with everyone else, district 9 and inglorious basterds need to be included.
also, v for vendetta and the hangover.
The Dawn of the Dead remake was fucking terrible, completely ruined any message the original had and turned it into a shallow zombie slaughterfest.
Fuck. That.
As for Avatar: Pfffhahahahaha

The most memorable one for me.
Did you even read the title? Top ten movies of the decade.
2) Oldboy
3) The Wrestler
4) Memento
5) Mulholland Drive
6) A Serious Man
7) The Orphanage
8) City of God
9) The Diving Bell and the Butterfly
10) The Lives of Others
If you're wanting a fair view, it would be a mix between the amount of money they made in cinemas and ratings they got.
If you're wanting a fair view, it would be a mix between the amount of money they made in cinemas and ratings they got.
...no. not at all.
how much money they made at the box office does not at all equate to how good they are.
for instance: moon was barely released anywhere, and it was incredible and much better than most movies that made a lot at the box office.
same with bad lieutenant: port of call new orleans
Obviously this thread is never going to work because people have different opinions.
Doesn't stop their opinions from being plain wrong. Judging on the principle of quality cinema (I.E this is about the point where people should start learning the difference between films and moviez)
half the titles people are suggesting should earn them a swift kick in the nuts followed by repeated bashing of the cranium.
If you're wanting a fair view, it would be a mix between the amount of money they made in cinemas and ratings they got.
No. Fuck no.
Judging by that principle, GI Joe is one of the finest movies ever made, because braindead fuckwits will spend their money so their small minds can be stimulated by a constant string of purposeless explosions.
If you're wanting a fair view, judge by A) quality and substance of film B) critical reception. Judging by box office is special olympics grade stupid, as some of the greatest films ever made didn't fare well at the box office.
Where the fuck is "Into The Wild"?
Watching Christopher McCandless die was the only part I liked about that movie.
Other than that, it was two hours and 45 minutes of him being a total faggot, and thinking that his childhood was hard.
ok ok ok... I almost agree with everything you have said.

it was /sarcasm
oh and yeah the hangover needs to be in top 10.
