They are, they just are voting that will they accept the law. Big decisions like this need to be signed by every EU country.
I dunno, there's a lot of stubborn people in this country, I'm sensing another No verdict.
I hope not though, the country has gone to shit.
Yes, god forbid we become linked in to an economically sound group of countries
Like Romania?
What has happened when Romania joined EU
[_] Our culture got much richer and we danced
[X] Romanian beggars flooding the streets
Like Germany, France, Sweden, Belgium or the Netherlands.
If we went ahead and signed the fucking thing into power, maybe Romania wouldn't be so badly off?
Like Germany, France, Sweden, Belgium or the Netherlands.
Yeah those are good countries, but sadly a lot of poor countries join that is costing a lot of €€€
Kinda like Ireland?
We bled the EU dry.
Yeah those are good countries, but sadly a lot of poor countries join that is costing a lot of €€€
Yes giving money to poor countries is terrible.
Kinda like Ireland?
Especially like Ireland.
Yes giving money to poor countries is terrible.
Yes it kinda sucks when EU tries to do that by pulling your standards of living to the same level.
Yes giving money to poor countries is terrible.
God forbid they should try and live healthy lives.
Guess we'll have to get cracking on the forced abortions and euthanizing.
What about next time?
What will you vote then?
Not the Irish constitution apparently.
They said yesterday that there wouldn't be an other vote because that would be undemocratic.
The debate was recorded so I will see if I can get the audio (I won't be able to get it till Monday, If at all)
At the moment, the Lisbon Treaty is the last thing on my mind compared to the supposed introduction of Third Level Fees.
Screw you Irish, just say yes and take one for the team. You're all pretty nationalistic, really.
That's the problem.
The Irish currency is now officially the Mars bar.

Who are you to say what we should vote, just 'cos your country doesn't care enough about you to give you a vote on what could in theory change your life.
The Irish currency is now officially the Mars bar.
We use the Euro because we like to think we're important.
Im either dumb or confused, what is this all about? Minimum wage? opening the borders?
Im either dumb or confused, what is this all about? Minimum wage? opening the borders?
You're not dumb, half the ignorant fucks in Ireland don't know what it's about either.
They baww about how no-one told them what it's about, which is of course bullshit, and not only that, all the information is on the Internet, or you can request a copy of the Treaty, but people are too fucking lazy and ignorant to read it.
Also NIN avatar :3:

If you look up Richard Boyd Barrette (He was the guy that is against the treaty at the debate) he speaks about how there are hidden agendas as well as misinformation the treaty.
[editline]03:36PM[/editline]
And also, it is extremely difficult to get a full copy of the treaty and not just the little books they hand out.
