The Lisbon treaty? That big write up that uses a lot of long words to confuse people who read it? Its a treaty that grants the EU powers to become a super state, and just by having another vote on this proves how power hungry and mad the EU MP's are. The people who vote yes are fucking idiots, no offense. You vote for yes because you are worried about the economy? You want to give up your freedoms because you might have to spend a few more pence on some fucking milk? I hate you. You go all gripe about the English taking your freedoms, but you let a man in France do it.
This is the second time they ask Ireland to vote, it's quite obvious that the EU is not going to accept a no, they'll either make them vote a third time, or go ahead without them (especially since everybody else voted yes).
I hope the Czech Republic still get to vote, its funny how only a few countries like Czech Republic and Ireland get to vote, you're lucky. Our governments such as England are not even allowed to vote, the government just decides what is good for us.

I have a sort of tiny wish that if we vote no again, the EU sanctions the fuck out of us for a month and teaches of those ungrateful anti EU fucks a lesson.
I have a sort of tiny wish that if we vote no again, the EU sanctions the fuck out of us for a month and teaches of those ungrateful anti EU fucks a lesson.
EU union was made for free trade, not to make us a super nation.
fuck the EU. fucking free trade bullshit pulled us in and now we cant get back out without the economy going down the shitter.
fuck the EU. fucking free trade bullshit pulled us in and now we cant get back out without the economy going down the shitter.
Fuck the EU? Without the EU we'd still be living in fucking grass huts eating taters.
Fuck the EU? Without the EU we'd still be living in fucking grass huts eating taters.
Err.
Well our roads would be a lot worse, I'll tell you that.
Fuck the EU? Without the EU we'd still be living in fucking grass huts eating taters.
Don't act like the EU are all saints and our saviours, because they're not in the slightest. Power on the top is so easily corruptable, because who is gonna check on the highest power? Not some small time inspector who gets his credibility and life fucked over if he finds anything remotely looking as evidence. Oh and please don't come up with the "conspiracy lolol dumbass" arguement, because I'm sick of people taking the easy way out of problems and give up the rights of everyone in between and I'm sick of people not having some healthy sanity and questioning the goverment about it's agenda every now and then. After all, we can always trust the goverment to decide what's "best for me", right?
No, can't trust the government for shit in this country.
I can see why the Irish wouldn't like this. My British Grandpa always said they where a bunch of stubborn fucks (no offense to the Irish)
When I heard Irish is it bad I thought of the Irish Republic War (or whatever it's called) between the IRA and the Free-Staters? Damn Liam O'Flaherty why do you have to write so well
The government has gone down hill. Look at what they are doing to the education system, The results of the leaving cert have dropped yet again, they are laying off teachers and they are sitting around scratching their head wondering what's happening... And they also want to bring in Fees.... Do they want an uneducated work force and a major brain-drain, is that what they really want... The government needs a huge kick up the arse before we should even consider voting (too late for that now!)
fuck the EU. fucking free trade bullshit pulled us in and now we cant get back out without the economy going down the shitter.
Jesus Christ it's scary how little you know. Some of us voted yes because we are just a small bit gratefull for the fact Ireland has a lot of what it has because of EU investment, and foreign investement from countries ( The US for example ) who wanted a base in the EU. Now were being asked to start giving back. Yes, that's right , THE LISBON TREATY IS NOT JUST FOR IRELAND . No, we freak the fuck out! Fuck the EU wanting something back so they can help OTHER COUNTRIES . We Irish are really showing our true colours these days as the most selfish bastards in the first world. We spent the first half of our very existance as a nation-state shit poor. Now we have gotten some money, 80% of which is because of joining the EEC and we suddenly act so fucking entitled that I honestly want scream sometimes. We need to back the fuck off, let someone help us again, and start giving back some of what we got. I really hope this recession bites us hard. We need a bit of fucking pain to teach us a lesson about where we came from and where we are going if we keep up this act. I aplolgise to anyone i offended, particularly those i quoted, I kinda vented a few months worth of bitching at ye.
I can see why the Irish wouldn't like this. My British Grandpa always said they where a bunch of stubborn fucks (no offense to the Irish)
I will honestly admit, we are.

Its not about giving back. Its for example some guy in Poland saying they should ban Guinness and that becoming a law in Ireland - in other words people have power over you who don't even live in your own country, making laws for you and giving more unnecessary money to the MP's in the EU, who are corrupt enough as it is.

Naturally we obey directives like laws, it's sad to see that Lisbon treaty allows these things to go as laws...

Now your currency's down the shitter. Irony eh?
This coming from the guy who made a whole thread bitching about England possibly getting the Euro. Now your currency's down the shitter. Irony eh?
Finland survived the last economic collapse in the 90's largely due to the fact that we could control our currency and lower its value, so investors from abroad were buying goods since it was cheaper. Euro is a free floating currency and doesn't allow this.
should ban Guinness and that becoming a law in Ireland
Don't even joke about that.. That's not even funny..:saddowns:

How? Where? When? Oh right i get you. I forgot the Politicians = Corruption fact of life. Nobody is going to be introduicing any laws without our say so. Not that we have exactly stood out in that regard ( Blasphemy law springs painfully to mind ).
This coming from the guy who made a whole thread bitching about England possibly getting the Euro. Now your currency's down the shitter. Irony eh?
The pound sterling is still more powerful than the Euro and the doller, currency change is natural. So are recessions, we build up and we fall down again - it is capatalism. Going "OH FUCK OH FUCK WE'RE GONNA BE POOR, SUCK EU'S DICK FOR TAX MONEY FROM OTHER COUNTRIES" isn't something to give your freedom up over.
( Blasphemy law springs painfully to mind ).
You just reminded me of that embarrassment to our nation. Dermot Ahern, Homophobic Minister for Justice and Equality
Not old enough to vote, but I convinced my dad to vote no. Yay!! Fuck you Sarkozy!
Not old enough to vote, but I convinced my dad to vote no. Yay!! Fuck you Sarkozy!
Your dad must be incredibly suggestive/senile.

There are numerous corruption charges with the EU's MP's, more than any other normal government, they are bribed and allow convicted people in charge of nations.
