Ah, we're back.
Your dad must be incredibly suggestive/senile.
No, he asked my opinion, and he thought I had some valid points. And it was only because he couldn't care less.
If he doesn't care less he should have spoiled his vote. Phallic imagery is acceptable.

How? Where? When? Oh right i get you. I forgot the Politicians = Corruption fact of life. Nobody is going to be introduicing any laws without our say so. Not that we have exactly stood out in that regard ( Blasphemy law springs painfully to mind ).
Honest? How? Where? When? Oh right I get you. I forgot the Politicians = Always honest and never ever super duper uses any of his power for something less than good and for their own gain and gets away with it. Laws are being introduced behind our backs all the time, laws that the general public don't like or takes too long to approve just gets in with a backdoor or very low profile. As long as the masses don't know, who is gonna object, eh?
^ Agreed the whole deal is just so fucking shady DDR style.
It seems like you only created this thread to promote your opinion, and acting like your's is the only one that's correct.
I clearly asked for people's opinion in the OP. I personally couldn't give a shit, this country's gone to shit already.
I clearly asked for people's opinion in the OP. I personally couldn't give a shit, this country's gone to shit already.
Hey, I'm all up for a good discussion here. I'm no fanatic that won't listen or think about other's opinion. It's just that you always defended with a snarky/evasive comment. I do agree alot of things are shite in the world ATM, half of the things we don't even know about yet.
I can't vote anyway, so fuck it.
I can't vote anyway, so fuck it.
You could (could've?) called all your +18 friends and your mum to order them to vote.
They did.
Buy the hobo down the street a beer to vote according what you think.
i would vote yes if i had the chance, i live here in ireland and ofcourse my parents are voting yes.
There are posters in places in town of Intel showing support for the Lisbon Treaty, which I found unnerving. As for the referendum, this has to be the worst time to hold it. With job security disappearing and the thought of a severe decrease in the minimum wage, I wouldn't be surprised to see plenty of no votes.
There are posters in places in town of Intel showing support for the Lisbon Treaty, which I found unnerving.
Is that the poster with the child?
Is that the poster with the child?
They're the No posters Libertas made. They're fucking weird.
Not as wierd as the giant aircraft carrier Ireland.
Buy the hobo down the street a beer to vote according what you think.
I tried, he wasn't registered.
Hey wait a minute, the Irish are awesome :buddy:
Rated heart (GO IRISH!) Anyways, I'm actually and irish-american citizen. But that actually sounds like a pretty nice deal judging by the poster. With that much you can only get one mars bar here :saddowns:.
So what happened, I'm scared to check the news.
Why does jcallan keep on using the same layout for each of his posters.
Why does jcallan keep on using the same layout for each of his posters.
They're a jab at Cóir's (religious fundies) poster layout. The infamous 1.84 poster.
The official result will arrive at 14:30 today. So far, it looks like the yes vote is winning.
My mum's an Irish MEP and she said yes will most likely go through, I think It's 3:1 Yes at the moment.

Don't be fooled into thinking we made the right decision by voting yes this time round, the majority of the people in this country were fooled into thinking that we would be stuck in a recession for ever if we voted no again.
My mum's an Irish MEP and she said yes will most likely go through, I think It's 3:1 Yes at the moment.
Shit. I was pretty sure it was going to be No!
Have you been under a rock for the past few months?
I'm probably in a massive minority but I'd quite like to see an EU super-state. Though to be honest I would also prefer to see all countries on earth absorbed into one MEGAULTRA state, and lose the need for countries. No more of this tribal bullshit.
Biffo's making another boring speech, you can watch RTÉ live here. http://www.rte.ie/
Looks like it's yes. :hfive:
I'm probably in a massive minority but I'd quite like to see an EU super-state.
