You can hardly call Adios a KMFDM album. With the exception of a couple of songs, all of the songs are pretty weak. This is not a fresh sounding album. It is obvious that there was a lack of collaboration on this album. The only two collaborators were Konietzko and Skold. This album is not in par with albums such as Symbols or Xtort. I found myslef skippin a lot of tracks while listening to Adios. The only really good song off Adios is DIY (and Full Worm garden coz I am a sucker for Ogre's works). All of the other songs lack that KMFDM feel. The only redeeming value of the other songs are their intros. the absolute worse song off Adios is Witness. What the fuck?! This is not KMFDM! KMFDM does not sing about aliens and UFOs and that kind of crap. On top of it, there are Christian undertones in this song. KMFDM does not like religion (listen to People of the Lie off of their album Blitz). Congratulations KMFDM you suck for real this time!
I hate the way most metal bands pretend to be brutal and shit. They're always fat and/or skinny, yet pretend to be ~ulTiMATE WaRRioRs~. Also, when bands take themselves too seriously.
People who bring Ukuleles/acoustic guitars to public places and randomly start playing them, should be kicked in the balls.
People who bring Ukuleles/acoustic guitars to public places and randomly start playing them, should be kicked in the balls.
Even worse is when they play stuff like the bass line to Seven Nation Army and think that they're the greatest because they can do simple stuff like that. At least Stairway to Heaven requires more than one finger to play.

I also agree with the last past of your post :) [editline]25th December 2010[/editline]
People who bring Ukuleles/acoustic guitars to public places and randomly start playing them, should be kicked in the balls.
That's a little harsh :(
People who bring Ukuleles/acoustic guitars to public places and randomly start playing them, should be kicked in the balls.
Playing outside is a lot more fun than inside. If you really see an issue you might be a bit jealous.
all metal is shit, give me an example of metal that isnt shit oh wait you cant, its all garbage.
Truth ^
I've met someone who took big inspiration from Zeppelin and showed that by copying chunks of Jimmy Page's solos and splicing them together to make his own solos. Literally, this is what he does, I can recognize what each part is from. I understand that most everyone uses the same licks and stuff, but that took it to another level.
People who bring Ukuleles/acoustic guitars to public places and randomly start playing them, should be kicked in the balls.
i disagree. now people who bring guitars/ukes/any instrument somewhere where youre just hanging out with yer friends, they should be. fuck that shit.
Playing outside is a lot more fun than inside. If you really see an issue you might be a bit jealous.
Jealous of what? Some simple chords? God no.
all metal is shit, give me an example of metal that isnt shit oh wait you cant, its all garbage.
This is fact
I hate fucking stoner music. People that get high and rave about how deep and meaningful Pink Floyd (AND TOOL, FUCK) is. Pisses me off so much. Oh and people that think nirvana is the best band ever.
Oh and people that think nirvana is the best band ever.
I think a lot of 13-15 year olds go through that phase, myself included
I hate fucking stoner music. People that get high and rave about how deep and meaningful Pink Floyd is. Pisses me off so much. Oh and people that think nirvana is the best band ever.
Clearly you've never been stoned and listened to music But then again it does get annoying when people place bands like Tool on a giant pedestal and try to convince you have Maynard is a complex god, and how his lyrics touch their souls and ect My best friend is one of them lol, I can't stop him once he starts so I tune out
I think a lot of 13-15 year olds go through that phase, myself included
I never liked Nirvana, and I still don't :colbert:
Nirvana aren't a bad band, I'm not a huge fan of them as I only enjoyed Nevermind, but that said it's a good album. They also contributed a lot to grunge, so there's no reason to hate on them
nirvana were a terrible band and curt cobain dying is the best thing that ever happened to dave grohl
harsh
Jealous of what? Some simple chords? God no.
Their ability to play a guitar. What reason would you make such a group of people. If they were playing anything complex you'd probably dislike them for showing off.
The Beatles may be influential to most bands but they're still untalented and unimaginitive as fuck by todays standards
Come to think of it, I actually really do like Nirvana (for killing metal) :unsmith:
The Beatles may be influential to most bands but they're still untalented and unimaginitive as fuck by todays standards
I will give you untalented but from my cold dead hands fucking imaginative [editline]25th December 2010[/editline] Also, Australia's newer local music absolutely wrecks everything else
Their ability to play a guitar. What reason would you make such a group of people. If they were playing anything complex you'd probably dislike them for showing off.
If they played something complex, i'd have respect for them. You know, because that would take effort?
Not everyone wants to learn Necrophagist. Some just want to play some chords or sing some songs or something fuck sake
I hate fucking stoner music. People that get high and rave about how deep and meaningful Pink Floyd is. Pisses me off so much. Back when they were creating their music NOTHING sounded like them. At all. They were INCREDIBLY original and unique sounding. They were arguably the single most influential band of the 1900s.
I really have to chalk this thread up to a cataclysmic fail. It's pretty much every other thread in which people voice fair opinions and debate, then about 10% trolling where people use the title of the thread as an excuse for doing so. So yeah, Sporkfire, your thread is an enormous pile of shit. Merry Christmas :buddy:

Well when Nirvana came around 80s metal was all the rage, and then Nirvana came in with their super angst and depression and angsty teens fell in love because they could relate to the angsty depression
