Honestly he seemed pretty optimistic about quite a few of those games.
Anyway, is someone going to create a mod called "Mad Dox", where there are way to many explosions. Gunshots are explosions. Punches are explosions Explosions are double explosions.
He looks kinda sad and dead inside :v:
He looks kinda sad and dead inside :v:
That's because he's sad and dead inside. Can't blame him - the world's full of shit man.
For some reason that Mexican-American war thing made me laugh the most.
is it me or is maddox just visibly ageing with each video
He's got those "old people spots" - I don't know what you call it. By the I meet Maddox, he's going to be in a wheelchair.
I personally thought that this year's E3 is one of the hypest I've ever seen.
The internet media has been depressingly cynical about the entire thing.
The internet media has been depressingly cynical about the entire thing.
They are cynical about everything. Always.
This E3 is the only one that I can say I'm slightly excited about, and it's because of DOOM. Otherwise, E3 is just like any other E3 for me, and I'm never hyped for anything. I'll probably play the new DOOM in a few years when it goes on sale or something.
They are cynical about everything. Always.
Usually it's called for. E3 was fun, end of. But when talking about it SBH came across as borderline depressed.
Only reason i'd want to meet Anita Sarkeesian is to superglue her mouth shut and save the world from more of her shit spouting.
plz stop harassing her
Mario Maker gets me rock hard
Mario Maker gets me rock hard
Anita gets me rock hard. I never knew she was so... attractive. I thought she was just a board like all the other sjw's.
Anita gets me rock hard. I never knew she was so... attractive. I thought she was just a board like all the other sjw's.
I see Seano has trained his understudy well.
I see Seano has trained his understudy well.
the number 12 will never be the same again.
nevermind, we aren't doing this.
This is the first time in a long time that I've been excited about videogames, so yeah it was a pretty good e3.
is it me or is maddox just visibly ageing with each video
Maddox is getting fairly old now for someone who actually makes videos on the Internet. And he really doesn't seem like the kind of guy to consider makeup to hide it.
The internet media has been depressingly cynical about the entire thing.
I don't know if you know this, but a reporter's job is to be skeptical, not to suck up every little piece of shit commercial that multi-billion dollar companies throw at them and generate hype like "RUN OUT AND BUY THIS NOW ITS THE SECOND COMING OF CHRIST" No. This E3 was nothing but commercials. I realize that's all it's ever been, but the course that AAA gaming is taking right now has left me entirely skeptical of any sort of advertisement they're pushing. Come on... they had a guy come up there and beg for money from people to kickstart a game that's already being funded by Sony and the reporters just slurped it all up.

I can take comfort in the fact that at least I didn't make a reference to my dick.

I'm not saying they need to be overwhelmingly positive, just a little less negative is all. We're just as skeptical as consumers by now, we just know when to enjoy ourselves and soak in gaming for fun too.
I personally think it's a good thing that people are cynical. It forces those companies to work a little more with the customer in mind. In the end, I'm cynical about the customer, however, because you know any new release is going to get bought in ridiculous droves despite quality.
That Dark Souls III display is metal as fuck.
Aw man, you mean to tell me if I'd payed attention to the guests at E3 I could've met Maddox? Cool as shit :v:
He talked a lot about his thoughts on E3 during his random Twitch stream today. Here's what he thought of games not mentioned: - Fallout: He's never been a fan because it's "boring as shit" - Doom: Seemed pretty okay with it, especially since it's getting "back on track", and he's enthused about the modding support And he went in depth with the Anita Sarkeesian story: Basically, Anita got worried and got his assistant to come talk to him. He revisited later to talk to her and said, "Hey, what's up, my name's George and I'm known as Maddox." She told him that it's weird to take pictures of others and he said, "Uh, no it's not. You're a public figure. People do that to me and I don't think it's weird. Why alienate them?" He was talking about how he understood her paranoia because regardless of whether or not you agree with her (and please don't talk about your disagreeance no one gives a shit), she has a lot of weird people that try to fuck with her.
I guess Maddox isn't a fan of RPG/FPS mashups, then :v: Although he did pick literally the worst joke Codsworth told... But then again, that's kind of the point.
I've never really had interest in Fallout myself. There are certain things I've seen that are interesting or cute, like the little kid and the wazer wifle. Other than that though, fighting in that game looks pretty boring. Nothing against anyone else that likes it, though. My brothers have played it and had a blast.
From my experience, Fallout is more about exploring. The gunplay is a bit clunky, and sometimes 'difficult combat' is represented with 'here are 10 bullet sponge enemies in an alleyway, you fucked up'. One nice thing is that it's often possible to run away as long as the enemies aren't faster than you. The tone is kind of dark comedy, but Fallout 3 is a bit more serious than New Vegas. It's quite fun to just drop in and explore without looking at a map, just to see what you can find, but like any game it's not going to be for everyone.
