[sp]I assume it was the major's plan, since the haberdashery was the closest shelter from town that could protect them from the blizzard[/sp]

Goosebumps 6.5/10 it's a fine teenage-ish flick, which is elevated by the fact of being...well, goosebumps, and by Jack Black, who is quite funny in the movie. Other than that, it's your typical cgi comedy, very predictable, and maybe a little funnier than most. I still felt like I've seen this sort of stuff a thousand times before, it doesn't break any new grounds. I feel like it will be interesting for fans of goosebumps, otherwise it kinda gets lost in the crowd.
Hateful Eight 10/10 Grave of the Fireflies 9/10
Superbad- 8/10
I liked that movie as a kid but hated it later on.
Galaxy Quest- 10/10 R.I.P Alan Rickman
Galaxy Quest- 10/10 R.I.P Alan Rickman
Galaxy Quest is my favorite Star Trek movie.

The Revenant was a god damn experience. Super intense, brutal, unflinchingly violent, beautiful. Leo was amazing at conveying emotion purely through body language and expression. Since everyone has already heard what's so great about it, I felt I should share some of my very small nitpickings. I felt that some of the imagery in Glasses's dreams/hallucinations felt a bit hamfisted, and I often had trouble understanding what people were saying. Luckily, I didn't need to, because the story is basically told through visuals alone. 9-9.5/10, I absolutely loved it and now I will never do anything related to nature ever again
Yeah that was my only complaint was that i couldnt understand what they were saying. I partly blame my theater being outdated but still. Also the subtitles needed to be a different font between Indian and French guy.

I had no idea he had cancer or anything. Wasn't even a thought on my mind that he was close to death. Odd timing but just a sad coincidence.
Galaxy Quest- 10/10 R.I.P Alan Rickman
i remember i despised galaxy quest when i first saw it. i dunno why, just something didn't click with me. saw it a few years later and loved the shit out of it.
Zodiac Yep, this is probably my favorite Fincher movie. I think I've watched this one more than Fight Club at this point and it never gets old.
cleaning out my basement any reason to keep these? [T]http://i.imgur.com/oRdrV4b.jpg[/t]
Pi is a great movie, but I could understand why somebody might not like it.

The Godfather Epic - 10/10 still incredible movies. HBO had a special where they put both parts together and in amazing HD quality. was 7 and 1/2 hours so i did tune out every now and again but man i couldve sat through the whole thing no problem dont plan on watching III ever, II ended perfectly and it wasn't good from what i've read
So I saw Pulp Fiction today for the first time. It was great, but I pictured it so differently going in. Having seen the bible passage reading and execution scene, and knowing that you never find out what's in the briefcase but that it glows when opened, I had imagined that the movie would just focus on Jules and Vega as they hunt down the briefcase and in the end open it, shot of their faces basked in its orange glow, and cut to credits. Of course I knew it would have a non-linear narrative structure because it's Tarantino, but I didn't know it was gonna do the whole three intertwined stories thing. I also had the impression that Marsellus Wallace was never supposed to actually be seen in the movie. For some reason Jules interrogating that one guy about his appearance planted that idea in my head, even though there's no real reason anyone should arrive to that conclusion based on what was said in that scene. And I also thought that the famous execution scene was supposed to take place more towards the middle or end of the movie, rather than pretty much at the beginning. Has anything like this happened to any of you? Where you learn about little bits and pieces of a movie before seeing it and what you actually get is totally different from what you expected? i'm asking because i want your stories
The Visit Unexpectedly funny, and completely deranged. 7/9:30
Red 2: What. Happened. To Red. 3/10 Star Wars 7: Yes. Yes. Yes. 8/10

[editline]18th January 2016[/editline] pacino is still dynamite, no question

the revenant 9/10 Amazing movie, cool surreal pictures.
Legend 6/10 The only really good part of this is Tom Hardy's performance, and those of the supporting cast, and I'd say is worth seeing on that alone if Snatch/Lockstock are up your alley. Other than that, it felt like the film was too focused on the relationship between Reggie, Ronnie and Frances to go into enough detail about the most interesting bits of their lives. When you're watching a movie about criminals - two of the most notorious British ones especially, the criminal aspect is the main thing you want to see. Not to say that it wasn't without its merits, it had some great dialogue, a couple awesome long-takes but it just felt like it was trying to be the British version of Goodfellas and fell flat on its face in doing so Cloverfield - 7/10 One of the few good "found-footage" movies. Some of the dialogue, some of the characters' decisions and certain events, and their reactions to them are all at least a bit contrived, but it's really effective with only showing the monster briefly and never in full until the end, and it's more the characters dealing with the fallout surrounding its rampage. The [sp]noise that the parasites make[/sp] were really out of place as were a few quips the characters make. The special effects, specifically the monsters, do look a bit dated but that doesn't undermine what's overall a very solid film. Super 8 - 8/10 One of the few movies in which the main characters are kids that I've actually enjoyed. Does a lot of the same things that Cloverfield did well, with less of the bad stuff - unlike Cloverfield, you actually care about the main characters because it went to some lengths to introduce them and give them backstories. And again unlike Cloverfield, the funny parts of it were appropriate for the tone. The ending was a bit cheesy, but since it's less a horror film and more an adventure it wasn't unfitting - however, it did feel like it was rushing for it in the last 45 minutes. Throughout it all, I just wanted them to get their film made, [sp]fuck the alien[/sp]
Watched Big Trouble In Little China for the first time. Why didn't I watch that sooner?
Hateful Eight - 7/10? I don't know honestly, it wasn't bad I guess...[sp]the ending didn't exactly do it for me since I was expecting more and was kinda rooting for Daisy[/sp] but that's probably missing the point. I'm definitely gonna have to re-watch this in order get a better opinion, seeing as it's the only Tarantino film I've seen besides Pulp Fiction and Django.
Weren't all of those completely terrible though?
Norm of the North's trailer led me to believe its the worst animated movie ever made that isn't Foodfight
