Most fucked up movie I've probably seen is the 1996 Cronenberg film Crash.
Martyrs, The Skin I Live In, Come and See, and in a way Happiness are the most fucked movies ive seen
Well, if we're bragging about watching fucked up movies, I guess A Serbian Film, the August Underground Trilogy, the Guinea Pig series, Nacho Cerda's Death Trilogy and Where The Dead Go To Die. Don't bother googling these.
I have a super high tolerance for the most fucked up shit and i don't know how i manage it.
August Underground is fucking shit
think the most messed up film ive seen is Irreversible, which barely qualifies considering the stuff that's out there
why would you willingly watch a serbian film
u havent seen many (any) fucked up moves have you
i love how youre dumbing me for my opinion
i haven't seen many really fucked up movies, no, but i found se7en to be as awesome as it was disturbing

i refuse to watch this movie, because most really fucked up movies (like this/serbian film/cannibal holocaust) aren't actually good movies theyre just really messed up

Irreversible is a soul-crushing film that's just too "real" for me, I don't know.

Like it's a fantastic movie and well made and intense but goddamn you don't just walk away from that movie without feeling absolutely disgusting
Martyrs, The Skin I Live In, Come and See, and in a way Happiness are the most fucked movies ive seen
Gotta be Martyrs for me too.
That movie was fucked up, but still had that little special thing at the end. Kinda redeemed it for me atleast.
why would you willingly watch a serbian film
Because I'm the type of sucker who watches/listens to things that are controversial to what the fuss is about.
salo was actually on the syllabus for the university course im studying. that was p messed up
I watched Salo with Spanish subtitles so it was quite a confusing experience.
aaand se7en takes over oldboy as the most fucked up movie ive ever seen
[sp]the way lust was killed is going to stay with me for awhile[/sp]
You should watch I Saw the Devil
Also thanks Matt000024 for recommending Outland, I fucking loved it. Relatable in many aspects to the first Alien film, at the very least visually.

i actually plan to watch that, Memories of Murder and Oldboy got me real interested in Korean cinema
why would you willingly watch a serbian film
i wanted to see how bad it was
yeah it was fucked up, but i was more taken by just how crappy of a movie it was in general.
Not sure which is more depressing,Antichrist or Melancholia
Come and See wins most fucked up film I've ever seen hands down
Other contenders are Irreversible, Martyrs, Salo, The Devils, and Men Behind The Sun
Not sure which is more depressing,Antichrist or Melancholia
for me it was definitely Melancholia
I watched it when I was in a really depressed state of mind and I don't think I can ever bring myself to watch it again because of it
Not sure which is more depressing,Antichrist or Melancholia
Melancholia was more depressing, but Antichrist was more dreary and hopeless, I think.
melancholia drains the life out of the soul, antichrist drains other bodily fluids.
I don't get those sort of shock films. Like I understand extreme violence and sex in film, but with a lot of those films it is just tasteless.

congratulations, you just described an exploitation film.
The Night Before - 6/10
It's pretty much a poor man's The World's End with a nice Christmas theme to it. The jokes were sort of hit or miss but I liked it overall.
as much as i adore the worlds end i always wonder if the film would have been better without the sci fi element. i mean i get that they were completing a trilogy of genre films but some of the best scenes of the movie were in the first act
i liked them simply because they were better action scenes than in most modern action movies
The Peanuts Movie- 8/10
Excluding one scene with a modern pop song, the movie feels kinda timeless. The animation is fantastic and very unique, while staying faithful to the source material. It's a very small story, but it fits the Peanuts universe more that way. The voice acting from the kids is A+ all around, Snoopy and Woodstock are fun to watch and it doesn't FEEL like a cash-in at all.
You get the feeling that the people who made the movie really cared about Charlie Brown's legacy and how many people, young and old, love it.
If you like Peanuts, you'll like this movie. If I could gripe about anything, I'd say they underused Linus.
I know i should have expected that the advertisements would make it look like typical rehash garbage, but this is good to hear, because i was pretty worried about how this would turn out
i can, because irreversible is complete trash.
Ok so recommend me a movie, Rusty
what kind of movie
what kind of movie
Any movie.
irreversible is like [sp]oh, of course shes pregnant too! why wouldn't she be! you can just picture the director being like 'hmm. how can we make this REALLY sad?'. its so transparent and borderline just manipulative garbage. it hits all those generic 'THIS IS MEANT TO UPSET YOU. ARE YOU UPSET YET' beats. its an obvious, tired experience.[/sp]
