Let me give you some examples so i can put this a bit more simply, I dont give 2 shits about the starving kids in Africa, i don't care that a TV salesman, or a midget, or a child molester dies, i could care less about some third world country that got a little shittier because of an earthquake, but, you want to know the darndest thing? You know that episode of futurama where Fry's dog is waiting for him and it died and whatever, it nearly brought me to tears. I get sad when dogs are involved, and i'll never know why. But yeah, that's the story of my life, i cant be sad or feel bad, but when a dog is involved, the tears start flowing. I just thought some people out there would like to know, so there you go.
