I read your OP and ignored the rest, sorry to the rest of you but I wanted to post right away...
My heart goes out to you, I haven't been in your situation but I have a Never-met family member who has. He was my grand father on my mothers side, he wasn't as lucky as you are to have such awesome medical care and passed away, but I'm not jealous for that. I'm in fact grateful that you have the care in this time, I'd never wish such a scary thing on anyone and I hope you make it through with speech intact. You see, my mother never fully recovered from the lost of her dad at 19, and I'm not sure how old your kids are but I'm sure the loss would be devastating...
I don't know you but you have my full support in recovery, maybe not monetary but anywhere else is covered, I couldn't imagine from any point what your going through. Only what could be.
Please be well when all is said and done.
I may regret this but, I don't give a shit...
Signed, Zebulon

I cried a little on the inside, that's the second time I have while reading this thread. I seem to have lost my ability to shed tears. You see, the last time I shed a tear was back in 2009 and I don't really want to talk about that, and I shouldn't anyway. This thread is about foszor, not me.
Helluva way to spend Easter.
I hope this guy comes out intact.
Godspeed mate, godspeed...

I also have a reason for an inability to shed said tears...
But for this i did. Crying is speech for the soul and if not for that, would drown in unshed tears. I hope for all I am that he's Ok. I wish no Ill on anyone, even the trolls as nasty as they can be.
May the surgeon's hands be steady.
How long would the procedure take? I'd assume several hours, but can anyone give a rough estimate? I think he could be done his surgery by now. I hope to get news soon.
Presumably, it's done and he is recuperating. Lets hope for the best guys!
We need more heroic music.

best of luck to you mate <3
-snip-
Godspeed, and good luck.
Let's see if he is alright after a while.
wow my skin was crawling reading that. Can't even imagine if something like that happened to me... hope you come out okay
God speed.
Hope he comes out in one piece.
This reminds me of my brother when he found out he had Brain Cancer. They successfully removed the tumor & any cancerous cells they could find. That was about (I think) 5-7 years ago, since then he has had to go for another surgery about one or two times due to it seemingly coming back. He's still doing fine today.
Don't stress yourself too much man, Brain Cancer is much easier to fix than most others (surprisingly). Hope you turn out well! Oh, and keep in mind they will shave your head a few times, so try to get yourself a new style for that bald head of yours.
I hope you are recovering and will be the same person as you always were. Because that OP really got to me, and I wish all the best for you. :smith:
Hope it all goes well man. Keep us updated if you can.
I hope you pull through, foszor. I remember you from when I was just getting started with Lua in GMod.
Wishing you all the best I hope you pull through.
Oh man. Half way through the surgery start talking in German.
If you don't know German, put on a heavy Russian accent.
Since there's a chance you might lose the ability to speak, you might as well make the most of it while you still have it, eh?
Really though, good luck. If the doctors know what they're doing, it should all go fine.
This thread is hardly close to that.

Just shitty news.

Is asshole still a valid ban reason? Thread could use a couple tbh
Oh my god.
I cried reading this, but seriously, there is about a 0% chance that the doctor will mess up.
[sp]...and even if something does go wrong, you will still be able to type, right? :>[/sp]
This is something I'm actually curious about. Hypothetically, if the language part of the brain was completely destroyed, wouldn't you not be able to communicate by means of language at all? As in, no typing, sign language, etc? Or would it just be talking?

Sometimes this can affect people to have outbursts of uncontrolled language/improper processing of language/unique figure recognition (such as unique entities, like your name)/a ton of bad stuff. If things get severely damaged, you can imagine what the result would be. Just google it, this is not the place.
On another note, I never knew foszor personally, but man did I hear about him. I have friends who are closely affiliated with foszor and have since recruited me to follow his blog and twitter and all the other goodies. By now he feels like a brother to me, yet he doesn't even know me. While reading your passage for the first time I cried, for you're a unique person that makes the world a better place. I sometimes think what the world would be like with more people who had the mindset and personality like you.
I wish you the best in your venture, and if things may go badly, you shan't be forgotten.
