Oh fuck yeah op you're ok :D [editline]26th April 2011[/editline] I'd make a pun on how brain surgery isn't rocket science but this doesn't seem like the right occation.
OP how was the hospital food? Most of the time its shit.
I was super lucky... whenever I was able to eat, my friends and family would bring me exactly what I wanted from the outside. I felt like every meal was a "last meal" because they made it so perfect.
OP is a badass and has a cool Mohawk
I told you you'd pull through! Glad to hear your okay :) did you get any sweet painkillers?
So how is the prognosis? Did everything go as planned?
We don't know what it is yet... the labs should come back either by Friday or Monday
At the very least the worst case scenario has not happened. Good!
I wanted to really quickly let everyone know I'm home and to say thank you for the amazing responses. I can't thank you all enough. I'm a bit drugged up and having a hard time focusing, but once I'm able to, I will give you an update on my status... until then enjoy this wicked picture of my scar
Now you have a big badass scar to show your kids and grandchildren to! :buddy:
Survive, man. You can do it. You have a family, and a good many years waiting for you. Kick that lump in its non-existent balls and tell it to get the fuck out, because good guys should never die early. Edit: Oh fuck, you're alright? Go and hug everyone. Go have a day out with your kids, and shave the other side of your head, possibly get a cap. You're alive, now go and survive!
OP, I've never met you or interacted with you in any way before. Best of luck in your surgery and I look forward to meeting you someday somewhere in Facepunchland. Edit: You made it? YES! Congratulations!
Glad to hear everything seems OK. Good luck with the recovery.
I have no words to indicate how happy I am for you you're still with us, but most importantly your family. Really.
I'm extremely happy that the surgery was completed successfully.
I have no words to indicate how happy I am for you you're still with us, but most importantly your family. Really.
This too.
OP deserves the title "I survived brain surgery and all I got was this tousy litle."
You're alive! :buddy: Thank god, I don't like dead people.
Was it scary to have doctors poking around inside your skull while you were awake?
Not to be rude; but keep in mind that it could still be possible that some of the mutated cells survived. Glad to see you survived the intense procedure!
Glad to see your okay, I checked this thread every so often for news. :buddy:
I will buy OP a title of his choice.
Hope you live!
I will buy OP a title of his choice.
Don't fall for this trick. <----
Don't fall for this trick. <----
he's also the mastermind behind http://www.facepunch.com/members/280704-salty-peanut-v2 's title
Now for a years prescription of cannabis and you'll be a-ok :buddy: Good to know you made it man
OP deserves the title "I survived brain surgery and all I got was this tousy litle."
"Too smart, had to get some brain removed"
OP deserves the title "I survived brain surgery and all I got was this tousy litle."
"I can count to potato"
Really hope you make it through alright! For good luck, [IMG]http://i34.photobucket.com/albums/d111/pwn3dsk8er/hearts.jpg[/IMG]
Best of wishes OP, get better soon
So I take it things went well
I'm glad you made it through, OP. I am a bit surprised they let you out so early, I would've thought that they'd leave you in longer after neurosurgery. I had neurosurgery and was in the hospital for quite some time.
